Jellybean Pool
Such a wonderful place to spend a few hours on a hot summer's day. Great location for families, or hanging out with friends.Driving into the jellybean pool car park is narrow, so drive slow and watch out for on coming traffic. Be considerate of other drivers. There are 2 car parks. Although be aware that there is very limited space in both locations. It is a little further of a walk from the overflow car park to the jelly bean pool but nothing to really complain about. Its a slight steep walking path to the pool but still easy for younger kids to walk down (just take it slow and watch your step). In the middle of the day there is limited shaded areas in the pebble sandy beach or on the boulders, great for sun baking at this time but in the later afternoon there are heaps of shaded spots. The water during summer is a luke warm to slightly cool temp (just perfect, I think). For the younger kids the shallow sandy banks are perfect for them to hang out and play in the cool water. And for stronger swimmers the depth deepens further inside the pool. There were locals jumping into the pool further down stream from a massive boulder, it was great to watch.PLEASE BE AWARE!!!...There are no toilets, or bins to dispose of rubbish here. So be considered and take rubbish bags with you. This is a beautiful place which we need to take care of. DONT LEAVE YOUR RUBBISH HERE!!!!! (As shown in a photo) so sad to see how 'SOME' people spoil something so beautiful. There is a park fee entry fee ( $8 Aud - when we went) don't think we should complain about this fee as this helps to pay for the rangers to maintain the place clean from all the idiots which come and leave their garbage behind. I think the rangers are doing a great job!!!Also most national parks don't allow dogs in there parks. Some people disobey this rule. There was a dog when we went to the pool and that is not ok. These rules are there to protect both native species of animals and fauna. Don't disobey the law. And personally I don't want to bathe were animals are also swimming. I have a gorgeous dog but she had to stay home cause.....DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN NATIONAL PARKS!!!!!"We should all treasure the beauty of nature

It is a lovely place to have a family day or swim. For non-swimmers, it is still nice to just sit at the rocks and enjoy the chill vibe.

Nice walking trails improvements in few areas especially pool areas being going there since 21 years ago there was no road to drive just mud now most of the hidden places are engraved upto red hand caves all my children recognise still most of the spots unfortunately there were hundreds of kangaroos with giant sized blue tongues in the past now cant even spot one what a shame but still a good place to breath fresh air

Great place for a walk and dip. Water clear and clean. Very popular. Steps down to the pool, about 50m.

I love natural swimming holes, and this one is lovely.Nestled In the national park, this freshwater pool Is the perfect place to spend a day or even a few hours.Fairly close in location for me from Western Sydney (Blacktown area), it was about a 30 minute drive.Parking on site can be a nightmare, however I was lucky enough to score a spot right near the walking trail. The walk down to the swimming hole was short, but a little steep.Once down there, find yourself a spot to sit on the rocks.Water was the perfect temperature and fairly clean.

Short but slightly steep walk down to the pool. Water looks a bit brown and muddy although it’s clear as anything. Unfortunately, if you are looking a quiet place to swim this is not it. Perfect for families, normally super packed and please take your rubbish home.

Very nice place. Good for swiming. Not much space for picnic near the pool. Easy trekking to the pool.

Wasn't sure exactly what to expect here but so glad we made the effort. It's like a hidden tropical pool (but brown)! The water was brown but clear and clean. It has varying depths so suitable for different swimmers abilities. There are a few places you can do little jumps into the water too. I would say quite a walk down and back up. There are fairly steep steps which are often uneven so would recommend proper shoes rather than flip flops. Bit of an effort on the way back up! But definitely worth a trip!

Great swimming spot. Has shallow areas perfect for the littler ones and gets deeper further out. Lots of people jumping off the rocks and further upstream but def check the bottem as there maybe rocks or shallower parts unexpectedly. Lots of shade but bring some if you can as it gets quite busy and the sand gets really hot! The road down is narrow so take care. The bottem carpark (closest to river) has about 20 spaces and fills up quick, but theres more parking further up... which would be a big hike uphill on the way back. The stairs to the river are quite steep and there are no toilets nearby. Take a picnic and make a day of it, rubbish bins are atop the stairs. Lots of lookouts close by to drive to and cafes/restaurants.
