When I saw the lunchtime line forming on a Friday I knew I had to check this place out.Amazing prices, and fantastic service. So clearly a family owned and operated business of passion.I ordered a fish burger and took it home takeaway, it travelled very well.The cans for size reference.Skux joint.I'll be coming back here with friends to try a sit down fish and chips with milkshakes to see what else this NZ chippo has to offer.They also sell an array of NZ groceries and beautiful fish, please check them out!

Fish burger with snapper instead , (ask to swap for snapper) a scoop of chips and a lift+ energy drink (now called live+) all for around $24.50 I think. The burger came out and my eyes turned into dinner plates, this burger was big and delicious. The snapper OMG. Fresh snapper fish burger with chicken salt chips (not shy on the salt either) and a live+ was like being back home. (NZ)FAVOURITE FISH N CHIP SHOP IN QLDY’EATEN

Prices have shot up. I ordered largest chips, large sweet potato chips, 3 cod and 4 potato scallops -$70!!!!!Yes was yum, and gave us extra scallops, but that is extremely expensive.

Great little fish and chip shop pumping out delicious & fresh food. Owners/chef were very friendly and brought out the food personally. Very upfront about their public holiday surcharge which was also reasonable given they're a small business. Look forward to returning and trying some NZ favourites.

Y’eaten is the best place to go if you’re looking for a kiwi Kai! My family and I have been coming here a few years now and absolutely love the food, staff and exceptional service. When watercress is in season, they have the BEST boil up packs. Make sure to grab some for the whole whanau! Thanks Whanau

Acquaint shop with friendly service. Haven’t had a dagwood dog that big ever. Sausage was tasty although the batter was a little too much for my tummy. Battered mussels were lovely, made just right. Raw fish has room for improvement. The fish and chips were fine — but the potato scollops were made with more batter less potatoes which was a little disappointing for my husband as those are a favourite thing for him at any fish & chip shop. Overall … great little business with hardworking owners.

I've now been to Y'Eaten twice & will certainly be back. The shop presentation is excellent, the outdoor setting is inviting, table & chairs spotless, the food is fresh & portions are generous - and great value for money. The owners & staff provide genuine personal service - they make you feel like your business is valued.

Absolute best fish and chips I’ve had in QLD! Makes me feel like I’m right back home in NZ. Food is always fresh, especially the fish. Service is great and the owners are so friendly and always making sure your food is up to standard. Highly recommended going when the kiwi kai is on, for a real taste of NZ.You won’t find any better than this!
