Classic Moves Dancewear

I went in today to purchase new jazz shoes as I haven’t danced in a few years. I was excited to get some new equipment as I’ve just begun performing again. Instead I left feeling judged and criticised. From the first moment there was no smile, no warm greeting, nothing to make me feel happy to be in the store like I was before I stepped in the door. I felt judged for not being able to remember what brand of shoe I used to dance in, and like trying 2-3 on was a chore for her. I asked if they had adult leotards and got a ‘yes.’ But no mention of where or offering to show me the sizes and styles, and as someone who needs all new products, I would have been a continuous customer. I felt judged for asking for black stockings simply for rehearsal, and the entire interaction she had a sour look on her face as if she rather be anywhere else. I feel sorry for any young kids or new dancers trying to start the craft by getting items in this store. I work retail, I get it sucks but I’ve never left a store feeling that bad about my purchase before.

Sheridon, knows her art. The art of all things dance! As busy as this place gets, she is attentive to all the customers and does a wonderful pointe shoe fitting! Thanks Sheridon for your help. It was a wait for the shoes to come into stock, but it was worth it-for the right fitting shoe! :)

Expensive. Good service when she got to me but a bit of a wait. Needed more staff.
