The Sleeping Lady Private Retreat

So good, I had to write a review!From the very beginning, Nichola sent us more than enough information, on getting to Porongurup from Perth, including things to do and see.We had a slight idea on what we would do on our four-day mini holiday, but our expectations were blown away!The Chalet is fully equipped, down to clothes horse to cooking oil. The views are breathtaking. The only noise is the birds chirping which is surprisingly refreshing. We were spoilt for local produce, and our only regret was getting Nichola's Cheese platter on the last day! We would have had it daily!We spent days sleeping in on the hotel comfort bed, strolling to the walkable wineries. Wondering the vineyards and just switching off! It was secluded, yet an enjoyable drive to either Mt Barker or Albany. We finished our days off with Local wine by the wood fire or with the stunning sunset on the deck.If you are hesitant about visiting the area, I can assure you that this has the best of both worlds! The outdoor hikes are endless as are the wineries! The Chalet is the cherry on top!

Nichola is an incredible host. We had such a relaxing stay. The place is such a delight with amazing views and is in a brilliant location for all that Porongurup has to offer!

A lot of thought has gone into making this self contained 2 bedroom chalet special. The view is awesome of the vineyard and Stirling ranges. It’s next to the excellent castle rock estate. Walk to the skywalk. Enjoy the fire and quietness with no one around. Very private and serene. So relaxing. Host was lovely too.

A gorgeous cosy cabin with breathtaking views of The Stirling Ranges. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly ask for. Very clean & a lovely wood fire, prestacked, ready to go.... perfect for our winter stay. Nichola was absolutely fantastic, a lovely welcome text message & checking in to make sure we arrived safely.Thanks so much, we will be back & telling all our family & friends.

The Sleeping Lady is a magical retreat with everything you would need for a fabulous break. It is very clean and tidy, excellently equipped and the views outstanding. Nichola the owner is really lovely and communication is brilliant. An absolute gem and we are just so lucky to have been able to stay. The location is peaceful, with the Stirling Ranges, Albany and Denmark within easy reach. OUTSTANDING!
