I had seen Jo’s charitable work on Facebook and thought she captured some amazing images. I looked up her website and from first contact knew I had made the right choice. I wanted a special present for my husband, an artwork we could treasure forever and Jo was amazing with my 3 fur babies, they are getting on and have varying personality traits but they adored her especially her wonderful treats. She was caring, thoughtful and very patient each visit and the final products were wonderful, she had captured their personalities perfectly. I can’t thank Jo enough for all her hard work and I am so happy with the final artworks, I highly recommend Jo, you will not be disappointed.

The reason I chose Jo to photograph my dog was hearing about how she supports animal shelters and charities. My dog Grace" featured in the "Teeny Tiny Dogs" photographic book and upon seeing the photos for the first time

Awesome having my 2 greyhounds photographed by Jo. Jo showed much patience as one greyhound is timid and one had his nose into everything.A fun experience for all.I would recommend Jo to anyone wanting brilliant photos of much loved companion pets.

What a wonderful experience my furbaby Pippa and I had, when participating in Jo's beautiful Teeny Tiny Dogs and Their Stories book. Jo made us both feel so relaxed, and even though the day was very grey, the resulting photos are just gorgeous. We were incredibly fortunate for having had the chance to have our furry-baby Spike Luis photographed by the super talented Jo Lyons! She brought out the best of Spike: during the session, by amazingly engaging with him from the begging to end (and Spike doesn’t engage with humans easily), and for the end result, by delivering an impecable work that tells Spike’s story in a very candid, artistic and sleek way. Did a farm experience photo shoot with Jo and it was amazing. She worked well with my dog Tina getting some absolutely amazing shots which show off her personality and attitude. Most surprising was her ability to get photos of myself that I actually like and are happy to display. Jo was friendly approachable and more than happy to work with us to find a package that worked to our budget. The photos are all amazing and the artisan box is of the highest quality. Would definitely do another shoot with her in the future

It was such a pleasure to work with Jo. She was so kind and patient with my dear old Medo, who at 16 is half blind and almost deaf, but still happily pottering through life. The resulting photos and book will be treasured, and I can't wait to give Medo's previous mama her copy.

We had a shoot with Jo in August 2020. It was above and beyond what we expected. We where lucky enough to win a photo shoot so we expected a quick shoot with limited fuss. We got the opposite! Jo was outstanding!! Our two boys ran around her beautiful property for nearly 3 hours and Jo could not of been more caring and professional in regards to what a great photo was going to be. The end results were amazing and beautiful!! The book we purchased of some of the selected photos are something we will cherish forever. Every time we look at it makes us smile! Great experience, beautiful photos.

I was lucky enough to win a free shoot with Jo on her farm for my two pugs. The experience from beginning to end was so simple and wonderful. Jo's love for dogs, photography and her farm is clear in everything she does. We had a brilliant afternoon on the farm getting some incredible shots of my girls and the end results were more than I could have imagined. Making it mean even more, my oldest girl left us a few weeks after our photo session so to have such beautiful lasting photos and memories of her is something I will cherish forever (and Jo's kindness throughout was amazing).Would definitely recommend Jo for anyone who has ever thought of getting photos of their furry family members.

I first saw Jo’s photos on the Facebook page of a Sydney pound where she was volunteering as a photographer at the time. I was very impressed with the beautiful photos Jo took of the animals, despite the fact that the pound environment must have been very stressful for them.When it came to finding a photographer to take photos of our dogs for our wedding invitations, I therefore contacted Jo. Jo was very responsive and lovely to deal with. On the day of the photoshoot Jo had an instant connection with both of our dogs. It was clear that both dogs loved every minute of the photo session. We had great fun that day and when we saw the photos later, we were absolutely blown away.Fast forward a few years: We now had three dogs and Jo photographed our dogs again. The experience was just as amazing as I remembered it. Jo went above and beyond. She met us before sunrise at the beach to take outstanding photos of our dogs.Jo has captured the personality of our three dogs perfectly in her photos.She has a true love for animals and a special gift when it comes to photography and this reflects in her wonderful photography.I cannot recommend her highly enough!
