Dropped in for a coffee yesterday / great coffee ( the best we have had so far in Tassie) - very friendly and helpful staff - clean cafe

Love this place :)They've got two things I have trouble resisting - gooooood chicken dim sims and Dare ice coffee - and they are located in a ripper easy spot to get to and park near.

Always a great place for a feed. Take away food is fresh and the coffee is hot.

Really great freshly cooked food, or grab and go from the counter. Truckies and first responders eat here. Always a good sign.

I have been going to this takeaway for a few years and since the change of owners the standard of the food has been slowly going down, but we kept going in hoping it would get better once the new owners settled in. How wrong could we be, Wednesday this week was the last straw, the fish was so grease by the time we walked to the car the bag was soaked in grease, when my took a bite you could see the grease on there hands, the bag then gave way and it was put in the bin, and it did not stop here the dim sims were hard from been over cooked and the grease from the fish was on the dim sims in the bin as well, now mine I had a bag chips that had been cooked more than once as they had collapsed , the chicken strip were dark and over cooked hard to bite in to, in the bin they went with the chips and I also had the Kiev sausage for some thing that was crumbed it was also dark brown , I held it between my teeth and to snap it with my hand to be able to eat it guess were that went, the bin. Now let’s and insult to injury to get the bad taste out of our mouths I had a banana milk and it was off that did not taste at first because the other bad tasting food after 24 hrs I an feeling better, my partner had strawberry and that was ok. So a waste of $27. 24 hrs of not feeling well and I will never be purchasing food there every again, and when I am asked were to purchase takeaway it will not be Trinidad at WestburyPS I feed the food to the chooks and they did not eat and they are not fussy eaters

Stopped in on my way to Launnie, nearly drove past, it was 7 pm and it looked shut. Blinds were down and I couldn’t see people in the window. Went in and got chips and gravy and a piece of fish. Standards have defiantly dropped. Fish was chewy, chips were shrivelled up and gravy was that thick that you could use it as a clogging agent. Sad to see what use to be a great take away go down hill. Had been warned about it, but I thought I would give it a chance.

My friend and I spend most afternoons here and usually enjoy our time until today. I was kicked out and publicly humiliated in front of many confused customers. This happened because of a history with their daughter and teenage drama. I was yelled, threatened and sweared at in-front of multiple customers leaving me quite shaken up and scared. This seems very unprofessional on the stores behalf as I was supporting the store and quite frankly minding my own business

Good old friendly country service.Good coffee & cake.
