Great experience - well worth it. Paul and Darren were awesome guides and as first timers we loved it. Good spots and all caught decent size fish. Only six on the boat so plenty of room.

Nice, low key staff. We caught lots of fish, had a good time. Fish expertly cleaned for us to take home and eat.

It was absolutely amazing... Never caught so many fish in my life! Paul was so knowledgeable and funny, we had such a good crew for the day and went home with loads of fish!

We had a fantastic afternoon half-day charter with Captain Paul who took us to multiple fishing spots and was full of local knowledge. We caught many fish including cod, barracuda and trevally, threw back what we didn’t need and Paul filleted the rest and directed us to a local restaurant to cook it three ways with chips and salad for only $15 each. The trip was great value and we really appreciated how happy the team was to accept a last minute booking when there were no other guests on the charter that afternoon.Tom and Elise

We booked the half day Barra fishing in Darwin Harbour on 4th June. Six customers on the boat and no-one landed any fish. That’s what happens with fishing sometimes so that’s OK. However still wasn’t impressed with the experience of the day. As we left the dock, the skipper informed us the tides weren’t good today so it was going to be hard to catch anything. The morning charter didn’t catch any fish either. However, if the tides weren’t going to be good that day, the company shouldn’t have been offering tours that day or at least give some indication on the website when booking so customers can make their choice on whether to risk their money or not. Once we got to the fishing site, there was very little instruction on how best to go about barra fishing. It was just here’s how you use a reel and that’s it. No guidance about the different types of lures or the best places to cast. One of the customers got a fish on and then there was barked instructions to keep the rod tip down and to do something else. These should have been given at the start rather than at the time someone was trying to land a fish. The skipper didn’t interact with the customers at all. Kept to himself at the back of the boat with JJJ blaring on the radio. At the last fishing spot he said he can see 5 barra around the boat so we must be casting in the wrong spot. All he said we had to do was troll the lure in front of the barra and we would get one. There was no instruction on what the right spot to cast would be. Customer Service is not this company’s strong suit.
