Shooters McGavins knows how to aim for the souls of everyone in the heart of Carlton with their rotating and wide selection of sangas.A range of brekkie options that puts a bit more effort than your sad disproportionate mcmuffin from Maccas, and meatier options for lunch from tuna melts, porchetta rolls, pastrami rolls and salad sangas.They use a good quality range of meats, but execution as a sandwich is a hit and miss- pastrami beef toastie (3/5) the sauce was too mustardy and one level depth, not sour yet mellow like your typical reuben- pastrami brekkie roll (4/5) this was much better the sauce was crack and the bread was something different and fun- hot honey chicken (3.5/5)- smashed sausage bagel (4.5/5) so flavourful- fish butty (4.25/5) best fillet o fish w/ chips maccas hack remake - the chips were surprisingly crispy despite the juicy soft surroundings- tuna melt (3.85/5)- roast chicken roll with crispy skin (3/5): where is the crispy skin, more soggy than saucyDefinitely go for the toasties bc they have such the perfect buttery crunchHopefully they don’t make the same mistake again with the soft biscuit bc it was sorta weird, felt undercooked too. BUT the chicken was super crispy and the sauce was powerful.Definitely an ongoing supporter bc they are always improving and they are amazing with their phone preorders given I am always tight on time!

Got the Italian Conti sandwich. Loved how layered and thinly sliced the meats were. Bread game on point, crunchy outside soft inside.Honestly everything on the menu sounds good and will def be back to tick a few more off the list.

This place is underrated in the area.Come hungry, everything is delicious & you will need the hunger to complete the toasted sandwiches.Amazing service from the team, with a high a volume of customers, be prepared to wait around 10-15 for your feed & drink.Have already started to become a regular here!

New cool place in Carlton. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Their menu is simple but delicious. We had egg roll and bagel sausage. The egg roll is soft like pillow. Coffees are great too. After 10am, they have more items on their menu, which we will come back to try.

Randomly stumbled across this place and boy was it delicious!My favourite was the fish sandwich, it was stacked with 2 layers of fish, crispy on the outside, soft and flakey on the inside. The acidity of the coleslaw/salad perfectly balanced the richness of the fish, top it off with some cheese and wow amazing!

Local heroes. Best cafe in Carlton! Amazing coffee, the best sandwiches and such a welcoming, friendly vibe. An absolute gem of the community ♥️ get in early for the breakky rolls, they’re the best and often sell out!

The honey fried chicken was piping hot and super tender. However, there wasn’t a whole heap of honey flavour to it. The biscuit bun that comes with it was delicious though - very unique!Fish butty was highly recommended and I can see why. It reminded me of a boujee fillet-o-fish from maccas lol. But trust me, it’s even better. The conti was fresh and delightful.The house iced tea was incredibly fresh but very tangy from the lime. I found it a bit too overpowering but that’s probably because I’m not a tangy person.

If I didn't live 30 mins away, I would be going everyday which is dangerous!The hot honey fried chicken was perfect. The chicken was deep fried perfectly, the biscuit was really moist and soft.The fish butty was also amazing, I'm impressed the fish was so fresh, even fresher than some fish & chips shop!Highly recommended and I can't wait to go back
