I asked if they could cut long hair, the front desk attendant said to sit anywhere

I took my 88yo Alzheimers Pensioner mum there today. The girl was actually quite nice and washed her hair very well. It hadn't been washed in 3 weeks due to out bathroom reno. But then l noticed her coughing. At times her mask was pulled down. Mum is very at risk so l wasn't too happy and mum noticed it too. I ducked out to Woolies for 5 minutes and when l came back, she was announced as done. I stood riveted to the spot with my mouth hanging open. My mum has short wavy puffy hair, common to older ladies but this had been straightened and was flat. She looked liked she just got out of the shower. Seeing my shock, the hairdresser asked to see a photo (which was how she looked when she walked in) and attempted to fix it with a curling wand. Mum was in tears by this time and on leaving, we were charged $40!! When l had rung earlier, it was $30. Charging a Pensioner $40 for a wash and blow wave?" No cut. Just a wash and wave. I said nothing bc l just wanted to get mum out of there. I'm still shaking my head. $40?? And tomorrow l will wet mum's hair down and put some rollers in it in the hope of returning it to normal. I was thinking about getting my hair done as well but goodness me

I know people are scrolling through these reviews trying to see if this is a good place for a haircut, but i did come here and my experience was terrible. I asked for a short haircut and i showed her a pic yet she didnt understand, what's there to understand i just asked what i wanted. At the end of my haircut it was very uneven and she kept saying it was when you can CLEARLY tell it wasn't, very unperfessional.

Good people, pretty good cuts and not too long of a wait. Price is kinda high but its not unreasonable(20 for mens cut)

I got my haircut earlier today, asked for a trim. The lady asked if I wanted my hair to be thinned out. I said “a little”. She ended up overly thinning my hair. My hair is SO thinned out. More than half of my hair thickness is gone!

The experience I had was horrible!! I would give a negative star if it was an option On the 10/12/21 around 1pm The hairdresser if you could call her that!! She had long blonde colour hair Totally ft!! She destroyed my hairstyle!! My hair is so uneven especially on one side I’ll have to go to a real hairdresser to try and fix it!! I could have done it myself better!! I’ll be telling everyone about this place I swear she is not a qualified hairdresser how could she cut my hair and do what she did without knowing she hadn’t done a 100% qualified cut? Do not trust the people there with anything they offer!! You will be very disappointed as I am
