Not as cheap as they make themselves out to be. Smaller range of products than Countdown. Produce is subpar and overpriced. Staff at the self checkouts can be unnattentive at times when customers need help. Birds have been getting into the store and flying around the building.

These guys are shocking for misrepresenting prices & items & over pricing everywhere! I’ve actually resorted to taking photos due to this & have even been sent to check the prices myself when it’s the Duty of the staff…This has happened soooo many times it’s ridiculous!! Not recommended!!

Great variety of stock. Lovely veges n fruit.Wonderful friendly checkout operator. Nice clean and tidy store.

I love shopping at Napier City PaknSave and have shopped here since they first opened up in 2004 I think. And also like it cause they have shop n go scanners,so you can c how much you spend every week especially if you are on a budget they also have scales to weigh and price your fruit vegetables and bulk food which I like to no how much they all cost. If you want something and they don't have it in stock the staff tell you why like once I was looking for corned beef and asked the lady if they had any and she told me that they didn't get their order and was very polite in how she said it wasn't rude at all.Staff are helpful if you can't reach something off the shelves and you ask them they are so happy to help you as I find it hard to reach the shelves with a sore shoulder or the product may be at the back of the shelves. The staff are friendly and polite even the trolley man with the black hair who works during the week and may be sometimes on the weekends gives you a smile when he sees you.The trolley men do a good job and work in all kinds of weather rain hail or sunshine .Paknsave Napier City is my number one shop and will always go their every time to do my shopping no complaints from me

Worst supermarket in New Zealand, third world outfit. Lack of selection across the board, terrible deli section. Filthy dirty especially the meat and chicken fridges. Pak n save chicken packs are tasteless when cooked. Horrible old huge trolleys. Outside entry is filthy. Out of stock frequently of basic items. Nice people work there tho. Full credit to those folk.

The worst in the area,avoid if you can. Prices vary so much,everyday risking to come to a $1 more on a staple item like milk. Shelves are half empty,some products not in for months while other stores have it. Meaning it is not out of stocks,just not delivered to THIS store. Fruit and vegetables are priced like gold,yet most times rotten or little for the price,e.g watermelon. Recommend to go to PnS Tamatea that is much more affordable and has better deals daily. Just because this store is in the center of the town and convenient, should DO better.

It's a typical Pak'nSave that you would get anywhere else. I think they might be lagging behind on the upgrades that most other Pak'nSave stores are or have been going through, but I got everything I was looking for. And the added benefit of 6c off the fuel from Pak'nSave Fuel helps as well.

Well stocked & cheap prices. It had everything we needed.
