Eleanor Schonell Bridge
Convenient to access UQ from Dutton Park side. Only walking and bicycle access permitted. No private vehicles are allowed to ply. BCC buses run on the bridge though

Eleanor Schonell Bridge
This bridge really encourages people to choose a more environment-friendly way to communicate in between west end and Lucia. That’s why this bridge has another name called green bridge. The view on this bridge is also great. There are some drinking water stations and seats on the bridge for bikers and pedestrians. Buses are the only vehicles to use this bridge in most time.

Eleanor Schonell Bridge
The separate pedestrian and bike lane makes this a convenient way for crossing the river. It is very close to the UQ Lakes/Dutton Park bus stops, and the CityCat. There are nice walking trails nearby as well.

Stunning views of the Brisbane river and the ferry to and from UQ. A pleasant walk onto the campus, and several benches along the bridge.

Separate pedestrian/ bike access makes this a great bridge for crossing the river. Still able to read the poems etched into the pavement.
