I had the best customer service at Decjuba Macquarie last week. Was in a rush finding a last minute outfit for a job interview. The amazing staff member Jordan was extremely helpful and happy to help me. She put together a great outfit and was super friendly, made a stressful shopping trip so much easier. Horrible customer service at this Decjuba location. I wanted to exchange a jumper that was given to me as a gift and was linked to a Decjuba member account. It was listed on my friend's account and dated back to the beginning of COVID 2.0 - the staff member told me I couldn't exchange it because it was too late (even though I'd been told over the phone they'd extended the exchange time frame because of the lockdown). I asked her what I was supposed to do with the perfectly good, never worn, tags still attached $110 jumper? She suggested I try to sell it on a buy, swap, sell website. What a joke! They very obviously do not care about keeping their customers happy, instead more interested in the bottom line. I've felt this before at this location so this is just the tip of the iceberg for me. They've lost me as a customer. Many more retailers out there that actually care about the customer and want them to be happy.

Wanted to try on a top I’ve seen online. Opening hours from 9:30. Waited till 9:50 and the shop assistant looked directly at me through the glass and ignored me. Ended up having to leave rather than wait for the shop to open. Really disappointing as I would have probably bought the top.

Possibly the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.I recently made an online purchase during a 20% off everything sale. One of the items purchased was a dark purple pair of Riley jeans. When they arrived, I cut off the tags knowing that they would fit (given I have 5 other pairs of different coloured Riley jeans in size 12). Unfortunately, the pair I received was incorrectly labelled and significantly smaller than my other pairs. The lady on the phone first questioned me as to whether I got them during their 50% off sale and was quick to remind me that returns and refunds on sale stock weren’t permitted. After clarifying that they were purchased during the 20% off storewide promotion, she needed to consult with her manager. The manager (working at 5:30pm on Thursday 21st June at the Macquarie Centre store) let her know that an exchange could not occur given that tags had been removed. This decision completely disregarded that I still had the tags albeit not attached. I questioned this decision by asking what I was to do with an expensive pair of jeans which didn’t fit. Their response essentially suggested that it wasn’t their problem.Despite being a loyal customer and spreading wonderful reviews about Decjuba to countless friends over the past 5 years, it would seem that they are more interested in product turnover than customer satisfaction. Very disappointing. I will not be shopping here again nor will my friends after hearing about this. $80 wasted.

I went in to the Macquarie store a couple of months ago, looking specifically for a jacket. All the racks were so squeezed together it was difficult to see the products well. Normally I don't mind finding things for myself and take my time, but I didn't know my way around this store as it was my first time. I had a look around at all the shop assistants and one was busy serving, then there were a few floating around asking only the younger customers if they needed assistance. I had been in the shop longer than the others and was not approached once. I was actually discusted, and I felt discriminated against because I wasn't 20 something. I left the store sooner than I wanted, due to feeling quite uncomfortable. I'm not planning to go to Decjuba again. Really disappointing experience.

When I walked into the store I noticed three staff members on duty and no other customers. Not one of them greeted me, asked me if I was looking for something in particular or offered any assistance whatsoever. In fact, they all appeared to be 'busy' failing to even make eye contact with me, despite me being well-dressed and groomed.However, when a young woman in her 20's came in I noticed they greeted her and were very attentive, offering lots of help. Sadly, this is not the first time I've noticed this sort of age discrimination in a clothing store and it's the second time its happened to me at this particular Decjuba store. As a woman in her mid-40's I have plenty of money to spend; it's a shame a brand like Decjuba isn't interested in stylish women wearing their clothing. I won't bother to return and will make sure I tell as many people as possible about this store's discriminatory policy.

I am a regular customer because of a great offer and very helpful service.When I was pregnant the friendly staff always advised me about their best clothes for that special time and the same now, postpartum. I love their fashion and endless options for combining clothes.
