Nova Hair & Body

One thing I hate is they change your appointment without asking. Every single time I will book an appt and the day before when the confirmation text comes through, it's gets changed to either earlier or later. Only usually by 30mins, but sometimes I plan around these appts so it makes it hard when the slots get changed. I know things happen but it would be nice to be informed if it's ok to move the slot I booked. This has been happening PRIOR to covid times too.I wont use the hair sides as I have been on 3 occasions (I gave benefit of doubts) and every time it wasn't great. One was colouring services, and two were children cuts. I was always polite and those doing it were nice enough.. but I did question the colouring mid service when it didn't seem like what I had wanted but was told it will settle.. but it didn't. And hair cuts always uneven/chunks.Beauty services are good though. Always do a good job and very friendly.

Absolutely recommend this salon! I always have Maddy as my hairdresser & stylist.She takes extremely good care of me and my hair - her customer service is exceptional. If you need a very talented and professional hairdresser go to Nova Hair and Body and ask for Maddy!

i came here for a new hair do by the absolutely amazing Hannah! she’s so caring in the way she does your hair and she offered to do a metal detox treatment on my hair. i found the treatment to be so beneficial and it made my hair so shiny and bright. so worth it. thanks Hannah! @hannah_novahairandbody

Mmmm! Not super impressed. First warning sign should have been that they were the only salon with appointment availability in several regions the day I needed to make a booking!

I see Jody for my hair and Mandy for waxing and I couldn’t rave about either of them more if I tried. I love the way Jody listens and talks me through what she is going to do and the care she takes is out of this world. I’ve noticed she is incredibly intuitive with her approach. Mandy is next level meticulous with the care she takes with brow and lip waxing. Perfection. So grateful.

This is one of the most impressive salons I have used. They have outstanding and extensive hair and beauty services in the one very convenient location. I was thoroughly pampered with a deluxe mani/pedi and also had my hair done when I visited from out of town before a local wedding. Both were divine experiences, and my hair and nails looked fab!If I lived within driving distance, I would be there regularly for so many of their services!The staff are lovely and highly skilled, and it is a really personalised experience.I was also super impressed that they participate in a green scheme to reduce the amount of landfill waste the salon produces.Huge congratulations and thanks to Jodi and her team!

Very happy with Nova Hair and Body. I Iike to have a short pixie hair cut using the razor. Sadee is brilliant. Couldn't be happier! Thank you Sadee!

I got eyelash extensions from here and it fell out pretty quickly within a week. To make it worse my eyes were stinging and would go red and I would cry from the irritation 2-3 times a day. I go back a week later for them to fix it and they start taking them out and put solution in my eyes that makes me scream from excruciating pain as it falls in my eyes and she starts wiping the solution away with tissue that crumbles in my eyes and eyelashes that I then have to dig out of my eyes. It takes me a while to do this as the pain in my eyes now is unbearable. They gave me my money back but the technician did not take any credit for her wrongdoing. I would not recommend anyone to get their eyelash extensions from here.
