Romans Eight , Tattoo Parlour

All the staff and artists here are absolutely brilliant, came in out of the blue to see if they had space, got me in within the hour and helped me refine the design, came back for another two days later. Super friendly and welcoming, would highly recommend to anyone. Special mention to Darren and Ron, legends, the both of em.

Had my first tattoo at 56 years old they were lovely tattoo was fantastic and not painful like I expected , very clean and caring to give you what you wanted totally recommend them

My first large piece done by Melanie Dann. Shop was clean and professional with a fun atmosphere. Loved every minute, would highly recommend this place and especially Mel as she was amazing, took my brief and nailed the design and the end result was better than I could have imagined.

I’m very upset I made a appointment with one of the Artist’s and they told me to come in the following day and I did at exactly 11:30 around lunchtime I drove 40 minutes to get there for them to be closed no calls or text to explain why or to let me know that they where closed very disappointed, why waste someone’s time and money, I called multiple times no answers stay clear and communicate to ur customers

DO NOT GO HERE!!This place is so horrible I would never recommend it to anyone.I got my first ever tattoo from the studio in Newcastle.I was given an apprentice and never even got told until after my tattoo was done.I was so disappointed and my tattoo looked nothing like the stencil.Most of the lines are not even straight and not even full lines.After my tattoo was fully healed I went back in thinking they would fix it and he looked at it and said he’s not confident enough to fix it and I should of said something earlier?!He is obviously the head of the studio says he not confident enough to fix it. So disappointing.Also I paid exactly $300 for my tattoo in cash and he only refunded me $250 because apparently he doesn’t believe i paid that much for the job that was done but they also gave me a $200 gift voucher that I’m obviously not gonna use considering what has happened.I am now having to look at getting laser to get it removed or also paying again to get it covered.I am so devastated because I was so excited about getting my first tattoo and this is how I get treated.

Great staff, very informative and professional. Awesome studio too! 10/10 would recommend, will be back on our next trip!

Mel is an absolute legend. I've been tattooed by her twice now I love them both so much. The atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming, everyone is lovely and I will definitely be coming here again when I get another tattoo

I had the most amazing experience at Roman's Eight. I had a terrible wrist tattoo that required a cover up. Mel was so inspiring and accommodating with ideas. She is so insightful and such a beautiful person inside and out. The atmosphere was super cool and relaxed. I got two tattoos that day. The second one was an amazing spine tattoo. Mel just gets it and is able to easily create the tattoo for you. Because of her amazingness I have again booked in to get another tattoo and am really looking forward to seeing Mel and the amazing team at Romans Eight. Can't recommend them enough.

First ever tattoo(s). I can't speak highly enough about Melanie @handmadebusyspider and the others. Very professional, friendly, patient and understanding. Helped me decide on font/design, size and placement as I really had no idea. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Thank you for a very pleasant experience. These are my first tattoos, but I doubt they'll be my last.

Cally is the biggest legend, does wonderful work Boh, Lish and Rae are always so friendly also.Don’t go elsewhere for your tattooing needs!
