I don’t recommend this centre at all. I went to get the injection done and they asked me to consult doctor first and all she asked me was about my allergies only. And they made me buy the injection myself from the pharmacy which cost me $80 for one dose.Later I realised that other centre charges only $30 for the same dose. Also I had to pay $110 for the 5 min consultation fee just to be asked about my allergies. And I asked the lady on reception. She was very rude to me and told me that was my first time in the centre so I was charged $110 fee. Really disgusting

1) the older reception staff are obnoxious & rude2) if your lucky you can book an appointment within 24 hours of making a phone call. However its quite often up to 48 hours, at a time I'm not available, meaning, 3 days before I can get an appointment.3) Most of the doctors are good, however they rotate there staff so often, you will quiet often get a new doctor on your next visit.4) They don't bulk bill which I don't mind, however for poor service, I consider it disgusting.

I have been going to the Ashby Medical Centre for over 4 years now. I’m grateful for everything they have done for me and my family. Our family doctor is David Hu who is absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable, caring and trustworthy. The receptionist and administrative ladies are helpful, friendly and just a lovely people. They always go that extra mile to help. Thank you very much for looking after me and my family, Team Ashby.

Please do not book an appointment for a patient if you can not arrange with the doctor for hours waiting, especially if the patient is kid. We would appreciate it if you could notify them about the timeframe when you see them waiting for long hours. Our time is valuable too. I had to return without seeing the Doctor for an hour of waiting.

Reception staff extremely rude in person and on the phone. They deserve the 2.7 star review. Issues with reception staff ongoing as seen in other reviews. Obviously practice doesnt feel the need to address this ongoing issue. This has lead to practice having bad name within the local community. Shame as they have some good doctors - Dr Lo and Dr Zhang who take the time to listen to you during consultations.

Dr Martel is the worst doctor that I have ever known. He makes you feel he is very busy but he is just pretend. Also with all the negative feed back, the owner never really think why people are saying negative things. Mate, the clinic scored 2.8, think about it.

Yes, customer service gone down the hill. We've been with the center over 20yrs and had great experiences with The doctors, nurses and the front desk staff until recent. However, customer service now has gone down the hill. My only suggestion is to give front desk staff a good training of customer service especially those who answers the initial phone calls.

I have been a patient at Ashby Medical Centre for over ten years and have found it to be the best medical practice I have ever attended. The doctors genuinely care about their patients and are super smart. It is also so handy to have an on site nurse to do blood tests, etc. It is one of the treasures of Penshurst, in my view
