Only have 1 star because there is no zero avaliableI have shopped at bunnings for over 20 years and usually have always been more than happy with there products ,prices and serviceBut that has changed totally after my last visitWhen we renovated our house we purchased most of the materials from bunnings and like I said were happyWe purchased all bunnings VIGO door handles and fitted them through out our houseUnfortunately we have had one after the break on all the doors which was very annoying but they came with a 12 year warranty which is why we chose them so I figured oh wellI have never had a problem before returning them to the morley store in exchange for a new one ever until recently I went in and was told abruptly by the gentleman behind the exchange counter sorry mate it’s out of warranty it’s over a year ....I replied if you check they come with a 12 year warrantyThey checked and found I was right and was then told can’t offer you a cash refund which I replied that’s fine I just want another door handle so I can use my door ,that’s all I’m afterHe then agreed and sent me to go grab another one which I did and returned to the counter only to be told you know what I am not going to replace it ,it’s been replaced before according to this invoiceI said yes,as I told you I brought the first one back and grabbed another one which has now broken as well .With that he abruptly replied sorry mate no can do....I was gobsmacked.....Made to feel like a criminal over the return of a $35 door handle ........The product clearly states “12 year” warranty which the so called “trained” staff didn’t know and now bunnings have decided no we aren’t going to honour that ,bad luckWell bunnings if this is the kind of service that I can expect from you ,you will never get another dollar of me
