I cannot recommend these guys enough! They quoted the insulation removal & had it removed within in a week!Very professional, very easy to work with & very reasonably priced! I’m very grateful for the knowledge & support we received! Will definitely be recommending to friends and family!

These blokes know their stuff. Michael gave me good advice on what product would be suitable for my home. Troy kept me updated with supply (delays due to covid) and installation timeframe. The installation crew were courteous and hardworking. They responded straight away when I had a minor issue and fixed the problem. Very happy customer and recommend them to anyone.

The worst customer service I’ve ever had. Staff arrived unprepared without enough materials to strap my ceilings. One of the staff who did arrive was a 15 year old boy, who clearly isn’t a qualified ceiling fixer. They left with the job not finished. Bernadette assured me not to worry, that the work would be done over Xmas new year break. Clearly this didn’t happen. Thankfully I’ve dodged a bullet from these charlatans. If I could give them less stars, I would. Avoid this company at all costs

Working with Insulguard was very quick and easy - gratifyingly so, considering how difficult it can be to get a tradesman in to do anything these days. The team was nonstop to get the work done and were pleasant and respectful to talk. They cleaned up all around them and left the place looking pretty good. A good job by some great staff. Thank you!

Needed insulation at the time of the great insulation shortage (covid times) and priced it up at the big green hardware store. After doing some quick research, InsulGuard were able to supply and install for slightly more than I could have purchased and installed it myself. Well worth the few extra dollars to avoid getting itchy, covered in spiderwebs, and spending a whole afternoon swearing and sweating while I tried to get it in myself. They had it installed with a quick turnaround time and no swearing at all haha. I definitely recommend saving the hassle of a DYI job and get these guys to do it for you, Troy and the team were great to deal with and had it all installed in about an hour.

Dealt with Mick, Troy, Owen, Georgie and Dave. Quote was done, insulation was delayed and they promised they would contact me in August when they got stock. Rang me last week and the crew just finished installing now within a week. Clean, tidy and all of them were great people to deal with. Highly recommend.

Our experience with InsulGuard has been a disaster and a total disappointment to say the least. They failed to install our insulation properly, they stole 3 bags of insulation we supplied and refuse to compensate us for the value ($160.50). We tried to negotiate a resolution with Bernadette and Michael (owners) but with no success.Michael, in a final conversation about the matter on 7/6/2019 (3min 13 secs) completely lost his temper when we disagreed with him and called me and a “f…king turd” twice and then hung up. Not the best way to conduct yourself with customers, especially when InsulGuard beg you to do a Google review!! We can certainly give them a review at least.It’s now 3 months later and we have still not been compensated for the theft of the insulation and the work they did not do and no apology for speaking to us using abusive and unacceptable bad language.We have a building inspection report (with photos) which said “ceiling insulation missing and (insulation) poorly laid” which InsulGuard refuses to accept. The matter is still unresolved and will now likely have to involve the Police for the theft and the civil courts for a resolution.Would we recommend InsulGuard? Well, Michael and Bernadette are probably nice enough people (except when Michael loses his tempter of course) and as a rule they may do acceptable work providing nothing goes wrong that is, but the real test of a good and reputable company is how they respond when things do go wrong. Taking property that belongs to their customer and failing to replace it or provide compensation is bad enough but using abusive foul language to a customer with a legitimate complaint means they fail “the good and reputable” test in our opinion. Would we recommend InsulGuard….well, in good conscience we can’t really. If you do use them, you better hope nothing goes wrong because they (Michael that is) is not nice when that happens. That’s what we found anyway. We would suggest you steer clear and go to someone reputable…much safer that way.

Michael and Troy were good to deal with, good suggestions on colour to avoid a hot roof. Big impact to reduce heat in the house. Had insulation and roof painted quickly as part of a bigger reno.

I was supposed to have all Bradford Gold 5 batts installed and was home all day when the job was done. Only to find out later they ran out of the gold batts and installed a polyester 4 rating batt in its place for several square metres. They never told me about this at the time, I was told subsequently by another tradie who was up in the roof space the following week. When I contacted them about it there was no apology, just told that the replacement cost more so it shoud be fine as they were not charging me for it. That is not the case as I have subsequently checked with Bradford suppliers. So no I would not recommend as they should have told me, assume they thought I would not find out.

Our insulation journey began weeks ago when we noticed that our ceiling had dropped 8 inches (20cm) throughout our 5-bedroom home in the Hills. After getting it re-pinned, we were strongly advised to quickly remove the old 22yr-old blow-in insulation. The search began for quotes and time was of the essence! Michael from InsulGuard was quick to respond to our plea for help. Although his quote wasn't the cheapest, we wanted to go with a contractor who was reputable, efficient, prompt, friendly and who had good reviews and excellent customer service skills. Securing a time to carry out the work, Michael, Ricky and Bernadette all worked hard to ensure that the job was done properly. 6 massive bags of old stale, infested and moisture-laden insulation were vacuum extracted from our roof-space, along with eaten-out air-ducting and 5 deceased Hills critters!! We followed Michael's advice to upgrade to the R5.1 batts and we couldn't be happier with our cosy home. The wood-burning stove now radiates warmth which doesn't escape through the ceiling, and the basket of patchwork quilts for guests to use, are no longer needed. (Nothing worse as a guest than to receive a 'quilt' along with a 'welcome' as soon as you set foot in the house!!!!!) Michael and his team had an incredibly arduous task within our cramped, unhealthy roof-space and we are delighted with the outcome. Not only are we warm and snug, but we feel a great sense of relief knowing that our ceiling and all its contents aren't going to collapse around us at any moment. Thanks so much guys for cleaning up afterwards and for your prompt attention, professional expertise, and warm friendly attitude throughout this whole process and ordeal. We also were happy to take your advice and install two 'Whirliebirds' to help with the moisture issues. Great job everyone, and we will highly recommend you to others.
