I joined Edatlas half way through this year after seeing students at my school tutored by them improve and dominate in my cohort. I had Rob as my tutor for 3/4 specialist this year and it had been the best decision I made for my VCE studies and for my self growth. Not only does Rob focus on helping you improve in your academic capabilities but extends beyond into supporting you through year 12 and after into uni. Rob is meticulous and efficient with his teachings like no other teacher I’ve ever known, even better than the VCE assessors that have taught in my school for decades. With his organised and well planned tutoring, if you follow his teachings, advise for optimising performance and exam approach, and complete the exam styled questions in his compendiums you’re basically guaranteed to do the best. He provides the best opportunity for you to outperform others academically and to achieve what you wish for. I know I will be applying his advice throughout the rest of my life and only regret not joining earlier. There isn’t anything more you can ask for.

Rob is the most motivative, supportive and encouraging tutor I’ve come across.Thinking back, my Methods teacher at school had a habit of discouraging me ever so often hinting that I wasn’t capable of doing well. Contrastingly, Rob genuinely believes every one of his students can do well and achieve their goals. He’s always full of positive energy and made me realise how important it is to have someone who is so SO supportive by your side.Rob’s teaching has made me feel so much more confident in the subject, I could not recommend a more dedicated tutor!!

I had a fantastic time this year! Rob is a great mentor in both a personal and educational capacity, and truly strives to maintain a high standard for all his students. The materials he has prepared are incredibly useful when preparing for exams in particular, and will guarantee a high score if studied thoroughly!Personality wise he is very easy to get along with, with tough but very fair policies and lots of experience to help you with any personal issues or concerns you have about school, careers or life in general.

I was fortunate enough to stumble upon Rob's ad on Atarnotes at the start of year 12. As someone who had always struggled in math and started finding the methods classes from a tuition company I attended increasingly harder to keep up with and understand, I knew I needed a change. Thankfully, contacting Rob was the best decision I could have made. Not only is Rob incredibly knowledgeable and well-versed on the study design and the use of the calc (I have never seen him stumped by a question!), he is also incredibly patient and more than happy to answer all the questions I had, even asking me to send him more questions and taking multiple approaches to ensure my understanding.Rob is extremely detailed and thorough. I ended up using his weekly set of structured notes as my bound reference at the end of the year and the weekly tests he gave us were challenging but instrumental in helping me retain and apply the concepts I've learnt, also revealing areas I still needed to work on. With his experience and success both in VCE and as a tutor, Rob has a good plan of what a student should be doing and when, with regular updates on progress throughout the year and an incredible wealth of resources and insider tips from some of the best schools and teachers in Victoria which I heavily relied on during sac and exam preparation. Rob also taught me to become a better student, introducing study and revision strategies such as keeping a logbook which were extremely valuable and would enable any student to save time and maximise marks in the exam.Though he teaches some of the most talented students in the state, Rob looks beyond your marks, instead placing value in your own hard work and effort to achieve your personal best. In addition to this, what made Rob unique to any other tutor or teacher I've ever known was his incredibly supportive nature and how he takes the initiative to help in anyway possible, even setting aside extra time to coach me in my med interviews after I graduated from VCE.Rob is not one to shy away from challenges, and encourages his students to do the same. He made me leave every class wanting to do better and work harder, helping me transition from an extremely overwhelmed student to one who realised the very subject I disliked and struggled in the most could actually be enjoyable. For that, I cannot recommend him highly enough and strongly believe any student who chooses him as their tutor would be in very capable hands.

I joined EdAtlas the end of 2021 for methods 3/4 and I believe it was the best decision I could have made from an educational and Mentorship perspective, throughout the course of this year Rob ensured we always had more than sufficient resources and made sure that you were always prepared. In the months prior to the exam all the content had been wrapped up and we were provided with booklets which were extremely useful and covered 98% of the questions types and theories in the final exam which greatly provided me an advantage compared to my cohort or classmates. Even after exams had wrapped up Rob provided me guidance and insight outside of school regarding career pathways and options. I couldn't of been more satisfied with my time at EdAtlas

Rob in simple words...has a heart of pure gold (WITH sprinkles on top of course).Yr 12 in itself is a struggle for all students but with Rob's teaching and EdAtlas' highly-thorough notes covering everything you NEED to know (+more for extra precaution), maths didn't seem as worse as it originally did for me. The comfort of knowing that any mathematics concept (especially calculus omg) that you don't understand can be easily explained and mastered with Rob's teaching, made the stress load of year 12 much lighter. I especially loved that we covered the topics quicker than the typical school curriculum allowing you to optimise your time in preparation for exams. Compared to my other maths tutoring experiences at places like North Shore and with private tutors, Rob tops them all with his precisely planned lessons, curriculum, and extensive resources.Personal issues set me back greatly during my year 12, but the whole time Rob was supportive in all ways and checked up on me regularly. His only motivation is to help his students reach their greatest potential. It is rare to find and get to know someone so intelligent yet selfless. PLUS he's super funny and entertaining so I can swear you will never fall asleep in class. PLUS PLUS its not just your Year 12 that will be benefited by meeting Rob, he is a buddy who can also assist you to infinity and beyond secondary school. :))

In 2022 I studied Maths Methods and Specialist Maths with EdAtlas. I truly believe that the EdAtlas program, led and delivered by Rob played a major role in helping me unlock my true potential. With his recent, relevant, and extensive knowledge Rob adds a unique twist to learning through a robust and comprehensive learning experience by sharing stories and his experiences to create an interactive and inspiring class. In addition to this, the brilliantly curated material and content covered in class provides all EdAtlas students an opportunity to unlock their true potential within the VCE study designs.Rob played a huge role in my growth and success across the year personally going over and above to support me in my learning. He answered any and all my questions relating to both high school and even university. I consider Rob as both my tutor and mentor.I am happy with my ATAR and study scores achieved and so much of that I have to attribute to Rob.

Rob has been super helpful over my year 12 journey not only for Methods, but also other aspects to completing high school. He is incredibly knowledgeable in these aspects and provides insightful knowledge from experience. I was initially unsure about whether I would be able to enter my desired course, but Rob was willing to stay after class to discuss my pathways with me. Through this, I was able to gain confidence in my ability and excel in my exams. Rob encouraged me to push my expectations and strive for high results in Methods despite my poor foundations. I was able to achieve a study score and ATAR that I am proud of, and am grateful for his help this year.

I joined the EdAtlas tutoring group earlier this year for Units 3 & 4 maths methods. Man can I say, there ain't no way i would've survived Methods this year if it weren't for Rob and his amazing classes. Every Wednesday, I'd always look forward to traveling to the city with my mate, and attend the tutoring session in person. It had been a delight to be one of Rob's students, and let's hope that atar day will give the same results!
