We stopped by the Pastoral hotel for dinner as we were passing through on a roadtrip. The kitchen opens at 530am and is located up stairs. It was great that there is an indoor kids play center as we were travelling with a toddler and it was raining outside. You can also eat dinner and watch the kids play. It was a welcoming family friendly environment. We parked on the main street so unsure if there is dedicated parking. We ordered sweet potato chips, pork belly bites and arancini balls to share.

Bit noisy in main bar if you are hoping to have a group sit down and conversation. No issues though. Renovations look good

First time in Dubbo… Popped in for a beer and a snack. Really friendly bar staff, fantastic arancini, glad I chose this pub!

Come straight in and head up the stairs to get to the restaurant. Good, solid pub food, just what we hoped it was going to be. We started with the arancini balls followed by the steak fillets. Perfectly cooked as ordered and a really enjoyable meal.

Dined for dinner. I had 3 crumbed lamb cutlets with sweet potato fries & veges & a few cocktails being an elderflower martini & margarita. Food & drinks were tasty & service friendly. Thank you to Craig for picking us up & returning us back to our motel via the courtesy bus.

Pastoral Hotel was recommended to us by our B&B. We had a great feed here. Dining area is upstairs with spacious seating arrangements. We can 100% vouch for the arancini balls as a sensational starter. Best we’ve ever had.Pleased to see a wide variety of meals to cater for all tastes. Our choice for the Sunday evening were the lamb shanks and BarraSundi (shame the latter wasn't consumed on a Mond'y). We left as happy chaps with local wines from Orange - a Philip Shaw Chardonnay and a Philip Shaw Merlot.

We went on a Saturday night and had a booking - which was lucky as the place was packed. The tables are quite close together, to the point where its hard to walk between them with drinks. The line to order meals was about 30 people deep for most of the evening and food prep took about and hour. There were very few staff on the floor so used glasses and plates would pile up. The food was good and the play area clean.

Best feed in sometime.Came here for dinner when I was in town for an overnight stay for work. Not much to look at from the outside, but when you walk in and head up stairs, the atmosphere totally changes.Great looking place with some traditional pub meals on the menu. Reasonably priced and the servings are huge.Great for families too with an inside play area for the kids. Will come back again next month when I bring the family up!

The kids playground is enclosed and inside near the dining area. It’s in excellent/ near new condition. Our son and niece had so much fun at this playground. You can see the kids while eating. Our food was so tasty! 100% recommend the arancini balls share plate. It was so tasty!! Very clean and beautiful place. From the outside you wouldn’t think so but it is really worth a visit!
