I came to Awen in 2016 after a not so great experience at a different salon & I will never go anywhere else! Michelle has spoiled me for life! My hair has never looked better and I always look forward to my appointments - the salon has a really lovely vibe it’s super relaxing and the shampoo/head massage is beyond amazing… love this place - love all the staff! Highly recommend!!!!!

I’ve been a client of Michelle and Katelyn at Awen for a few years now and I’ve recommended this salon to so many of my friends. I’m also a member here which has so many additional benefits including at home colour kits which has been a huge uplift during lockdown. Michelle and the team are so professional and warm, I feel like they treat all their clients like friends who are genuinely cared for. I can’t say enough good things about this business. ❤️

I came in for a cut, wash and blow dry and I’m very happy with the results! The pricing is very reasonable and Michelle is incredibly professional and experienced which comes across in her work. I’m looking forward visiting the salon again soon.

I took my client who has intellectual disabilities to this salon this afternoon. Kaitlyn and Jess are by far two very beautiful and nurturing women. The completely understood that my client has an intellectual disability and it DID NOT stop them by treating her with respect and chatting with her. Thank you Jess and Kaitlyn so much for putting my client at ease and making her feel comfortable and asking her what she likes and is comfortable with. You two are amazing. We will 100% be coming back in the future.

I was so happy with my cut and colour as well as the great service. And the best bit? They recycle as much as possible - hair, chemicals, foils, the lot. Makes your trip to the salon make you feel even better. Ask the lovely staff about how they recycle, they'd love to tell you about it.

Found out about this salon through a Facebook competition. I am very glad I was chosen.Katelyn did an amazing job. For someone so young she is competent and informative. I was so thrilled with the outcome and I'm looking forward to seeing the results from my next appointment.
