I used Hem n Threads recently to shorten some pants for me. Was all done with great efficiency and the best customer service. They were needed the next day and that wasn’t a problem. Very quick turnaround and for a great price. Will certainly use again.

Would not recommend.....Took 4 skirts of my mother's to have elastic in waistband replaced at$25 each. On inspecting the garments before returning to my mother I found that one had not been touched, one had had the old elastic pulled through the torn waistband and tied into a large knot, the other two the jury is out as an not sure whether they were done either due to the labels and finish still being in place. As I was unable able to pick up and inspect on the spot my sister paid the $100 to collect.... Unknowingly, For a service that was not supplied.

Annie is very friendly, professional and her work is excellent. Her prices are very reasonable and turn around time excellent. Annie is very responsive to messages and scheduling jobs. I will definitely be using Annie’s services again for all my alteration needs.

I am absolutely pleased with the work Annie has put in for my daughter's uniform alterations. It is finished really well and very quickly too and i am sure my daughter would be happy to wear her dress again without any issues this time.

Annie did a great job on my work clothes and she was very helpful with expediting the pants for an urgent requirement. The prices are very reasonable especially for the quality of service and I would highly recommend Hem n Threads to anyone in Newcastle/Lake Macquarie.Annie hemmed and tapered 2x work pants (heavy denim & drill cotton) and took in a shirt (drill cotton) in the sleeves and body for me. Taking them all from baggy loose to fitting perfectly.

I had a bec and bridge dress taken in by Annie. Annie took great care with the dress, was extremely quick with the alterations and communicated well. Not to mention the price was incredibly reasonable. Ill be back!!

Found Hems and threads by chance,What an absolute great service. Annie hemmed 2 school skirts for me. Super fast turn around hemmed perfectly and at a price that beat the rest by far. Annie was very friendly and professional. Highly recommended. Annie will be my go to place for all alterations.
