Crown Metropol Melbourne

We loved our stay at Crown Metropol. The staff were all friendly and super helpful, the pool area is awesome and the location can't be beaten.The view from the room was incredible and the room well appointed with everything we needed and didn't know we needed. Very modern and stylish.Will definitely stay again next time we are in Melbourne.

Hotel is great.. breathtaking pool.... just super busy most of the times these days..Rooms are very clean and smelt amazing.. convenient to walk into the casino and the shops down there. Good cafes are a walking distance and the area is much quieter than the cbd. Room rates are fare and can be cheaper if booked direct.

We stayed one night, Saturday, and had a great time. Enjoyed the amazing indoor pool right after check in, including the spa in the changing rooms, and a nice cocktail at the 28 Skybar before a dinner out. In the morning had a good workout in the gym, and a lovely breakfast in the room. On the pricey end but you get what you pay for, great quality and service.

We had a lovely room with a great view.A 5 star hotel with single ply toilet paper, really!It doesn't save money you just use twice as much.Otherwise lovely.

This is clearly a hotel for grown-ups. Not in the exclusive $1000 per night sense, but just with the way they operate.The price for downtown, Melbourne was exceptional. The check-in was friendly, welcoming and fast.The rooms have plenty of space, great technology, excellent television, super comfortable bed plus a mini bar and snacks for grown-ups without scrimping. Almost like they trust their guests (go figure),Heading to the pool at night there was a bar with anything you could ever want, simple rules, plastic cups, happy friendly staff and a negroni in the hot pool.The breakfast offering downstairs was fresh with great coffee.The arrivals and departure team was fabulous and even security were walking the floors, just to keep an eye.It’s close to some amazing restaurants great walk along Southbank 20 minute walk from Docklands Stadium and it just felt like the place has decided to not treat it's guests like children.All in all, seems there is no better value for money than this place.Congratulations

The room space is very comfortable, and the nights are peaceful, allowing for a good night's sleep. The swimming pool is fantastic. However, the bathroom facilities and fitness center are a bit basic.

The crown is in an amazing location, right alongside the river to flinders station. An amazing array of restaurants along the waterside with lively music and delicious food available. The hotel room itself was so nice and clean and roomy. The receptionist Nikki, was so welcoming and helpful getting us into our room efficiently.

Loved the Perth Metropol so thought we'd try the Melbourne Metropol. Not disappointed. Little extras like UFC main event included and attentive staff make you feel like you're in a quality hotel. Excellent view from the pool on floor 27. Excellent food and coffee from room service. Excellent all round. 5 stars.

Got upgraded for our anniversary! What an incredible experience. Shout out to the concierge team who kept us laughing when arriving and leaving. We’ll be back!

Sort of good, but it doesn't feel like a hotel. More like a convenience for casinos and clubs crowd.Rooms are decently large. This odd concept of open bathroom/shower section is questionable. The detergent they use might cause allergies, so people who are prone to it, please beware. Towels are changed daily and I find it useless and not very ecology friendly.Staff is very different in their knowledge of things so always seek second opinion.Hotel food is, let's say, sub-optimal and pricey. Breakfast is not worth the money. But there are not many café around for the breakfast. This is a night life area, not morning commuters one.Parking is super pricey, area is large and can be confusing, so figure that out beforehand. Stayed there several times and still finding parking annoying and overpriced. But that is one of the issues of this place being a casino addicts oriented rather than a hospitality business.There are plenty options for lunch and dinner along the river just a short walk away.Good location to commute to business centre on tram. I would not recommend driving in the business district unless you enjoy this sort of activity.
