Great site but a bit rocky in parts. It has a great view and the traffic noise is considerably less than on other major roads.

Basic campground at the Peter Denny Lookout east of Sandstone with limited facilities.Time and Cost: No apparent time limit, free.Access: Sealed road access but gravel/dirt within campground.Facilities: Very limited facilities including bins, some seating and fire pits.Ambiance: Reasonably quiet depending on traffic. Plenty of sites in the bush for those that need a little privacy.Good for a one or two night stopover when travelling on the Agnew-Sandstone road. Excellent views over the breakaway from the campground
