Heidelberg Occasional Childcare Centre

This is a beautiful, friendly, and nurturing environment for children and their families. My child started going this year and absolutely loves it. This is HUGE for us as we've tried a couple of other childcare centres over the years, and they haven't been a good fit for him.He enjoys being able to go inside or outside as he pleases in all weather conditions, eating whenever he likes, resting if he needs it, and having so many different and varied play options and sensory stimulating opportunities. Being occasional care works well for me as a freelancer so I can just book him in as needed (or if I need a few hours to clean and do the grocery shopping!). Highly recommended!

It is our family's fifth year at HOCC. Both my kids have loved attending HOCC and have always looked forward to their sessions. It's been like a home away from home for them and has allowed me time to get some work and study done or just have some time to myself. The educators have been really caring and maintained communication with me about the progress of my children. My kids love the staff.

A beautiful not for profit centre which puts the needs of the child first. I love that it is a small centre and that it has such a family atmosphere. The educators are amazing and the fact that it is multi-aged is very appealing, giving children the opportunities to socialise with others.

Both my kids love going to HOCC. They always come home happy and can't wait to go back. The educators and director cares about the kids and it shows. Fees are very reasonable too.

We feel so grateful for HOCC, it has been our toddler’s first child care experience and all the staff have been so patient and kind that it made the transition as smooth as possible. Now she loves to go, and I feel confident and comfortable as the kids are lovely and the staff are wonderful. Definitely recommend having a try here if you’re considering starting day care.

My son loves it here, the staff are so wonderful, caring and welcoming. They take extra care when it’s a rough return after holidays or for any other reason. He is always talking about the craft or imaginative play or sandpit or the friends he played with that day.

Our toddler year old has been attending HOCC since the start of this year. We have been thrilled with our decision to enrol here. Although our child only attends a short session once a week, all the educators understand him and his needs very well. All the staff are very professional as well as being warm and nurturing. The space is engaging and inviting. Our son always comes home happy.

My child has been going to Heidelberg Occasional Childcare Centre for just over a year and is so happy here. The educators provide great care and put in so much effort to set up wonderful activities for the kids! The centre is clean and well maintained with a lovely outdoor play area. The short half day hours (9am to 2pm) suit our family perfectly and is so much more affordable than long day care for us. Thank you HOCC!
