Absolute animal abuse going on in the store. I am still having nightmares about the overcrowding of animals in small cages with no stimulation for these poor, poor creatures. This shop should be closed down!

The best honest a d helpful advice about animals. They actually know heat they're talking about (unlike some larger pet stores with employees who do not have the knowledge). Free water testing for fish. Cheap prices and good stock (no fish die in store)!

Been there a few times this year, just to buy crickets and say hello to the animals as I feel absoluting sorry for them and feel like they need some sort of love. The treatment of them is DISGUSTING, the lizrads are in very small enclosures, they put their scorpians in smallest plastic containers. They're all fed dead insects. I purchased a half dead gecko just for it to die on me 6 hours later and when returned was made out that I was to blame even though I've had lizards since i was 12 years old.The birds enclsures are filthy and over crowed, their food and water is also filthy and infested with their poo and have a lot of missing feathers, most likely due to stress.Now as for the customer service, it would have to be the worst customer service I have ever witnessed and ive only ever worked in customer service roles. The manager has never onced said hello, how are you? when being approached she simply tilts her head back and says what do you want?" they don't know anhything about anything and I'm telling you this place absolutely needs to be boycoted and have their licence revoked."

Not a great experience. Found them to be quite pricey and even though I told the bloke we wanted normal fish for cold water, he several times pushed an agenda od buying a water heater and tropical fish.Will be going to Fish & Feather in Kilsyth next time.

Absolutely Atrocious.Re: Reptiles at this premises.I am a reptile lover and was constantly witnessing tanks with overcrowded bearded dragons, adults with babies, i even saw a young baby that had all limbs bitten off by the older bigger dragons and the staff just laughed it off, these dragons were being fed dry dead mealworms as a staple and for everyone that owns bearded dragons knows that these lizards require a very special/particular diet. By far the worst conditions i have ever witnessed in a pet store and this new management needs their license revoked. No education on what they are selling.

Worse place I’ve ever been to. Probably one of the most expansive places I’ve seen. Went there today because they claim to have a massive close down sale but trust me don’t waste your time. Only a few things are on sale and it’s still expansive. Rude staff. No one said hi to me I walked around for a good 15 minutes. Not worth it. No wonder they’re closing down. I understand it might be frustrating when you have to close your doors but it’s their own fault.

They do have range of birds, fish, reptiles, equipment and other pet supplies. Most interesting thin is you can enjoy with their hand tame birds and you can by them as well.

I have shopped here for many years. I know the staff here very well. Importantly they know me very well. The point I wish to make is that all the wonderful staff genuinely enjoy getting to know their clients and this enables them to provide the best service and advice that suits your particular needs and your pets needs. I have nothing else but genuine praise for all whom work here

New owners, extremely disappointing. Been a customer for 20 + years.Its recently changed hands, new owners absoluting rude, everything Is now OVERPRRICED!! They have now overpriced EVERYTHING.I suggest to shop at the reputarium in Tecoma or Upper Gully.They don't even stock what I use ro get, you have no choice to pick another brand, and pay moreVERY DISAPPOINTING!!!DO NOT RECOMEND AT ALL!!
