After trying several mechanics around town found a quality, Honest mechanic. Never charged for work not done. Provided great advice when required. Was my mechanic for several years. Have moved away but still considering the drive back to Tamworth to get this quality service...... so rare these days.

Quoted for a 90ks service by the owner himself, as advised owner, was ringing around all service centres as looking for a new mechanic to handle all required jobs for my new Hilux. Great news, sounded very welcoming, said my service will be under $200.I am not a mechanic.Hence the reason to ringing to get the best quote from several places around town.Explained the service was a 90 ks service and log book will be in truckAll good. No problem, drop it in next week.Arrive to drop keys off-Greeted by a moan and grunt by the elderly woman in office, took my keys, checked my name, turned around and sat down.(all good, no skin off my nose!)Received a call about 2 hours later to pick my truck up.Upon paying the $200 quoted, I was then firmly told how much of a huge discount I was receiving for the service that was completed".No worries. thank you so much

If I could give these guy's more stars I would. On our road trip my car started making a bad noise coming from my Diff, we pulled in on a Friday arvo & straight away they helped us out, then tried to charge us hardly anything. I hope they brought themselves a few beers on us for State Of Origin. Thanks to these guys my car is still going after 24 hours of driving.

Great honest service

At very short notice, Tim fitted me in to remove the injectors from my HZJ78 Land Cruiser Troopy 1HZ engine. Injectors were taken next door to Retorque, where they were reconditioned and returned to John's Auto Service the next morning. Refitted to my Troopy and all finished by lunchtime the next day; fantastic service. The price; I still wonder if they charged the right amount, as it was so reasonable for the job done. Thank you Tim.
