Martha Grace Birth Photography

I carried prior birth trauma from my first pregnancy and birth. I believed it was important for me second time around to ensure I surrounded myself with positivity and professionals who could advocate for me when I was vulnerable. One of the first ways to make that happen was to hire a birth photographer to capture memories in still and in video. Martha is an incredibly talented photographer who goes above and beyond to ensure the mothers she works with are captured in a light that empowers them. She is quiet and respectful in the birthing space, catering herself to the mother and her needs. These photos I now have that I get to hold onto forever in-still a sense of awe at how beautiful and powerful birth can be. If you have ever considered getting your birth captured please do, I would recommend Martha and I will continue to recommend her to anyone who will listen. Martha is an amazing birth photographer. She’s so respectful of the birth space and also supportive. Martha is one of those rare individuals who makes you feel 100% comfortable very quickly. Her background, her own life experiences and her role as a mother herself make her just perfect for birth photography. She is so humble and down to earth and a pleasure to work with.We had a pregnancy shoot (along with our doggo), a postpartum session after our birth experience took a scary turn and most recently we did a family photo session with Martha. Martha showed me personally so much love and compassion and I will be forever grateful. She has a talent for capturing beautiful moments and we will treasure ours forever.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Martha! From the moment we met, she was warm and pleasant and very friendly. We got on immediately and I could tell my babies also felt at ease with her as my toddler wouldn’t leave her alone! The experience of taking such intimate photos was very easy all thanks to Martha and the photos turned out so much better than I could have imagined even my husband who doesn’t like taking photos said he felt left out. I’m glad those photos were taken and they’ll be a beautiful memory for me of my babies. I would highly recommend Martha to anyone!

After meeting Martha I instantly knew I wanted her to be the one to capture my sons birth, she has such a lovely calm presence which made me feel so comfortable around her! We spoke throughout my pregnancy which I loved because she was so genuine, I felt like we had become so close and I was so excited to have her in the room! We had maternity photos first and I was soo nervous but she made me feel comfortable and the photos turned out so beautiful I’m obsessed with them! The birth photos are amazing I’m forever looking back at them we would have missed out on having photos of those first moments together if it wasn’t for Martha, we love how all of the photos turned out but especially the ones of my partner with bub. I can’t wait to get our next lot of photos done soon!

I cannot begin to say how thankful I am to Martha!! Not only were her photos breathtaking, but Martha herself was incredible.
