The Clove Indian Restaurant
I recently visited the restaurant close to Coogee beach and had a somewhat mediocre experience. On the positive side, the restaurant was clean and had a convenient location. However, I was disappointed with the food. While it wasn't terrible, it was definitely average and not worth the prices charged, especially considering the small portion sizes. Overall, I would rate the restaurant 2 out of 5.

Manager and staff were too busy dealing with home delivery orders to pay any attention to us, so we waited over an hour for our meals. Won’t be returning, even though food is of a high quality, ambience is pleasant and toilets are clean and well stocked.

Actually last night we ordered mix vegetables, panner makhni and malai kopta and 6 garlic naan it’s like a rubbish there is no taste gravy is not properly cooked and in my life i see first time mix veg look like a gravy same as naan like thickWe come from BrisbaneNow, 2 of my friend unwell he is regular vomiting from last nightPlease do not go thereFirstly, we go for dine then owner says that i can not start air conditionerThen please put in rubbish bin if you don’t give facilities your guestPlease don’t thereIf you want to spend $100 then give any homeless person and they give million blessingsPlease don’t visit here

Quality Indian food, great service, and nice decor. There are cheaper options locally but the food quality and atmosphere here is better. Prices are quite reasonable.

Hands down the worst and most expensive Indian I’ve had in the area.Paid $100 for basically food scraps.Portions are terrible.Chicken tandoori dry.The sides stale and bland.Rice way undercooked.How can you stuff up Indian food so bad,Then charge premium prices.DO NOT EAT HERE

I would give them negative stars if possible. I ordered from here for the first time and I don't think I will ever order again. The Gulab Jamun I ordered had mold on it and the syrup was stinking. I am very disappointed and may report this to the food authority. It is very irresponsible of them to sell food that has gone bad.

Best Indian ever! I've been going there for over 10 years and they never fail to disappoint. I've had my fair share of Indian but nothing beat's this. Great food, great service.

Ordered from here multiple times through Uber eats. Somehow on the app it’s called taste of India Coogee. Food is tasty. Nice Lamb biryani. The Aubergine curry is one of our favourite dishes. Portions are decent. Our order did get messed up once though with 1 missing item and 1 wrong item. I hope they pay more attention to orders next time.

This small business was welcoming and attentive. They provided us with kind and welcoming service and the entree platter was better than I have had in past indian restaurants. Loved the chicken masala, probably the best flavour I’ve hadIf you’re looking for local indian food in Coogee, I recommend this place. Not a crazy busy restaurant as they had a lot of take out however is nice and intimate that way

Just ordered take away Indian and it was so delicious!I’m vegan so I usually have limited options but there were so many. Sooo many vegetables and so flavourful.Will 100% come back.So good
