Our cabin was clean and lovely but very basic. We were cold so would recommend bringing extra bedding in the colder months. The facilities and the grounds needs maintenance and cleaning. Location was truly fabulous but our host was not very welcoming which was a really disappointing.

I took my kids there for a few nights , great to get away with no wifi . Cabins were great fun , clean and the surrounds are pristine and peaceful . The staff were very accommodating and helpful in every aspectHighly recommend this place A+++

We've just got back from a 5 night stay at the cabins. What a hoot. We had a great time. The cabins were clean and had everything you need whilst on holiday. Val, the owner, was friendly and very helpful. Beautiful 60's cabin in gorgeous surrounds. 3 mins to a swimming beach and lots of different places to explore. What more do you need on a holiday. Thanks heaps Val. We'll be back

Quite disappointing experience. We went there with our family and the owner seeing how many we were (4 adults) said we had to live in two separate cabins.. (nevertheless each cabin has room for 4..). Then came her great" sales skills - initially said that all cabins are booked out and after a minute one magically got cancelled.. So we were charged for two cabins while actually lived in one as it was big enough.. Also

What a place, make sure you have every thing with you you will need it at this rudimentary place. Noone to meet and greet. Fridge was off when we arrived and it was soon apparent why. Froze all our stuff and drink bottle exploded. Forgot our linen our fault and were charged $60.00 for single sheets for the queen size bed. If you like rugged this place is for you.

Furniture is very aged and worn and needs updating, cleaning and pest control needs to be improved, area is remote from amenities such as groceries (8km round trip) beach is close and nice, staff nice, if they upgrade and renew furniture would be a strong 3 star place.

If you like 60's style simple cabins with the basics set on 6 acres of a coastal bush headland between a stretch of empty beaches good for families on one side and a wilder surf beach and National Park on the other side, love native birds and kangaroos close by and truly 'getting away from it all', this is the place for you! The beauty of this place is it's like holidays of yesteryear where time has stopped and you just had a simple beach holiday, talking around the fire at night while the kids play in the dusk.
