The Fleurys Music School

Our son had hit a wall with his musical training until he met JP. From the first lesson I was impressed with the musical skills and the rapport that JP demonstrated with our young man. We have been having music lessons with JP for over 2 years now and we are seeing our son go from strength to strength. It is such a pleasure to listen to the two of them play and work together and I would thoroughly recommend Fleury's Music School to anyone who asked.

JP and Sally are wonderful teachers - committed to kid's learning needs and levels of performance. They are always SO respectful towards their students, gaining their confidence and affection as well.I know my grandsons feel honoured and priviledged to be among their students. Jean.

A wonderful music school run by two amazing and well renowned musicians Sally Maer and JP Fleury !!!Our 7 year old son thoroughly enjoys his violin lessons with Sally as she really engages with him and her enthusiasm is so contagious. Since starting violin lessons with Sally his progress has been amazing and he gets very excited about his weekly lessons and always comes away with a big smile on his face and enthusiastic to share with us what he has learnt that day.I also took clarinet lessons with JP which I found invaluable as it enabled me to transition smoothly from the oboe to the clarinet. JP was very friendly and had a great and adapted approach to adults lessons!!!The set up of their school is also really nice as the music room has ocean views and there is a comfortable waiting room for parents or siblings.Highly Recommended!!

It's not always easy to enthuse children to learn (read teenager now!), but Sally easily manages this feat through her enthusiastic, energetic, fun style of teaching. Sally has guided my daughter from her first 1/2 size cello, through to her current full size cello (and heading for her 6th grade exam), with much patience, encouragement, and 'joie de vivre', which has carried over into my daughter's view on life and her attitude to practice. Sally is at all times professional, reliable and versatile, and is not only a wonderful teacher but a very talented musician with a wide knowledge of music and styles. The cello is not just for classical music! Thank you Sally.

We have the pleasure of both Sally and JP as teachers for my two children, different instruments but the level of tuition and understanding is amazing across the board. We have tried others, we were new to the area and we have found the music school that works for us. Sally and JP are great teachers and more, they make it fun, they think outside the box and provide a wealth of experiences and understanding. When you have a child with learning differences, this kind of motivation they deliver to make sure that music is accessible to all makes all the difference.

Over the past 3 years or more we have watched our 3 young children develop a love and appreciation of music with the cello, violin and now the recorder. Sally and JP are wonderful teachers providing a relaxed environment for learning and our children's satisfaction as they progress is beautiful to see.

Sally & JP have fostered such a beautiful love of music in my children. They are kind, considerate and enthusiastic... all this on top of being talented musicians and teachers. My children love their instruments and their confidence keeps growing!
