Ballina Fun N Sun Motel

Friendly greeting, nice rooms, comfortable bed and a great shower. However some guests have no common sense or courtesy in regards to others. Very noisy impossible to sleep.

This is a older style motel but renovated and clean. Units have a rear door and outdoor seating for everyone to enjoy including a pool. Good value for money.

Very friendly and accomodating even at the late time we arrived. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious and well equipped. We were just passing through on this occasion but I would stay here for a longer visit too. The location was quiet and the two bedroom unit really airy and roomy.

Location was great. Easy to get into. Rooms were ok. Took a long time for aircon to work. Shower water was on water saver. I hope. Was told dinner menu was in room. Wasn't. So ended up getting food out. Was very clean.

Spotlessly clean and very well maintained rooms and grounds. Basic facilities like a pool, barbeque area and table tennis.Bitumen drive into the property however... if you want to get to your room it's all gravel drive-way and car parking with several large pot holes on the way, an interesting an unexpected feature.The Toyota service centre located on the next-door property provided an early wake up on the Thursday morning we were there.We have stayed in several motels in Ballina now, my personal experience was, to expensive for what we got.

Nice and comfortable place to stay. The pool was great to use and was clean. Our bed was made everyday. Only complaint was that our vanity was tiny and was very awkward to brush our teeth and face. The A/C was directed straight to the bed which wasn't ideal either. Overall a really good experience.

Super friendly staff, great clean rooms, awesome value for 2 br self contained unit for our stop over night. Easy to find. Great location to places in town we needed

After long-way drive, I was appreciated the motel agreed me to check in early when I came to the front desk on 10/08 and asked if I can check in then, if it can , I will pay . The motel agreed and asked me to pay them directly than hotel booking platform, because they don’t want to pay commission to the platform. I understood and paid them . But they had never instructed me what time I should check out at 10am or 11am or other time via verbal or written .The motel is ok to stay , but I am suspicious of “4 star” motel. I was upset of their behavior as we had disputes and got hurt in my neck and arm on the issue for checking out time. Police got involved. I have asked my GP to examine and kept as record to further complain.I has never given any business negative review before. I am very frustrated about the bad behavior .Personally , no more come to this “4 star ”MOTEL.

Beautiful place for a family accommodation in Ballina. Close to restaurants, pubs and iconic Big Prawn. Friendly staff and clean rooms. I stayed just a day and worth it. There is a play area near the entrance and swimming pool that keeps children busy.
