Gungahlin Kinder Haven

Lovely place for development of my kid. Mostly good experiences for our Daughter. She always comes home very happy and fulfilled. Only one minor suggestion for improvement to do with upkeep. When my daughter transitioned over from the toddler room for the first few months we would pick her up and the whole room upon entry smelled like somebody was soiled. On some occasions it was my daughter but chances are other kids also weren’t changed immediately upon noticing but rather on a certain frequency. Sometimes it is better to just be close to and present with the children to Notice these things.

My daughter attended kinderhaven for 3 years. I’m so glad they found a director like Tanya to turn the place around as I was very unhappy with the place before she came in.I do however think there could be a warmer welcome to families when entering theHowever Kayla is very lovely!

My son has been going to Kinder Haven for almost a year now. The staff from day 1 have been so friendly and professional and really show you how much they care about your kids. They are always happy to sit and chat to you about anything that has been going on, development and always keeping you informed and updated. The centre is always clean and tidy and my very fussy eater loves everything they make fresh there everyday. They really put in a lot of effort to always have things going on for the children and also fun events to involve the families. We have built really great relationships with the carers there and my daughter will also be going there next year. Cant recommend this daycare high enough!!

My daughter went to GKH for several years, only leaving to start kindergarten. Although there has been many changes during this time (like many centre's) I always felt my daughter was well looked after, and was always happy getting dropped off for the day. I can't fault anything.The daily updates through the Xplor APP (it was always interesting to see what she ate/tried for lunch, lots of variety :)) and photo's.Going to GKH was a great foundation in getting her ready for big" school.GKH has played an important role in my child's education. I have one child in the nursery at the moment. The centre itself is great, good sized rooms, lots of activities for the kids and a good outdoor area. The educators are lovely and really engaged with the children too. The communication from management and staff is also really good, we often get updates and photos through the day and a quick rundown of the day at pick up.

Gunghalin Kinder Haven is a great service! The manager Tanya is very approachable & always ready to listen & resolve any issues. The educators Danielle, Sonish, Ash, Skye and Htet are supportive, nurturing & kind. They take the feedback & concerns seriously & work on it efficiently. We feel very fortunate that we have found this place for our baby & we are confident that he is getting the best care & support in his development.

My daughter has attended this centre since she was 1 (now 4yo and in their preschool program) and she has thrived. They provide all the food (high variety, and caters for different preferences and allergens), and a range of activities every day including excursions and community engagement, cooking and gardening, and large undercover outdoor play areas which they have access to all day. My daughter has had health issues and various disruptions in her life but Kinderhaven has been a constant, and she has developed caring relationships with long term staff there; and she gets to practice yoga and dancing, and our values at home about kindness to animals and caring for the environment are reinforced in my daughter’s class by the staff and general ethos of the centre. Despite being a big G8 place, the staff really work to make it feel like a big family for the kids every day. I just wish the staff had more recognition and support for all they do.

My daughter has been going to KH for 4 months now and we can honestly say that we are extremely satisfied with the level of care they have given to my daughter. The educators are nice and my daughter loves them! We've also seen my daughter develop a good social interaction with other children in her room and learned to eat on her own. I highly recommend this center to those who are looking for a daycare for their little one's.

Would never recommend this day-care to anyone wanting to leave their child at day-care.My grand-daughter went there and would constantly come home covered in a red rash, hives, bites, sick, injured, very upset or always hungry.There would always be an incident report my son would have to complete when he picked her up.Often I would collect her and she would come running to me as she couldn't wait to leave now at her new day-care she never wants to leave.I think they are more worried about money at this place than the children. I would never let another one of my grand-children attend here

My child has attended the centre for almost 3 years now, and I have had my share of specific needs above-and-beyond normal expectations. The centre has been accommodating and helpful in all requests. The educators really care about my child and are enthusiastic about helping the children learn. Highly recommend!
