beautiful nature! you can hear and see different species of birds. The negative is that the signage inside the park is very bad, it needs to be improved otherwise it is very easy to get lost.

Mathias Walking Track
Really lovely easy trail. Gorgeous and not too far from city yet absolutely serene. The fallen trees from 2021 winds have opened more valley views.Beautiful local Rosella's in the area, ferns ,white birch trees.....it's cute. Will definitely come back. Good for the soul and wasn't too busy when we came.

Gravel walking track, nice and wide great for a leisurely walk, huge trees and ferns sheltering the sun. The track spreads out to other tracks besides the Dandenong botanical gardens. Perfect for a walk with the dogs

Great track, recently upgraded with an all weather gravel surface. From here you can take many other side tracks to create a circuit walk through the forest.

Mathias Walking Track
A beautiful and quiet trail with wonderful views as you make the 3.2km walk (each way) on gravel paths from one end to the other. The gradient is not too bad and does not tire you out. It was lovely passing other dog-walkers along the way. We were there on a Saturday in June and it was not very busy.

Mathias Walking Track
Really nice track. Easy to do. There was plenty of dogs being walked along and everyone was very friendly. Took us about under 2 hours there and back. Half way the air felt amazing.

Beautiful day. Every passer by is friendly and says hello.Not too steep and hidden creeks along the way. Excellent way to spend an hour or so strolling amongst the towering trees.

Mathias Walking Track
I just adored this trail. Tranquil, quiet and beautiful, especially in spring when the flowers and trees are blooming. Lots of offshoot trails to explore. The main track is all flat but it may be worth wearing sturdy shoes because it can be muddy after rain and on the offshoot paths. Easily 5 stars.

Mathias Walking Track
Love this walk esp that I can take my dog. The old golf course is great for offers time for her.Do need to watch out for snakes in the warmer months, so we often travel here on cooler days or winter. Very pleasant to walk there in the rain and just enjoy nature at its purest.
