I appreciate Tarek Alarab working at Chrome Accountants for his wealth of knowledge so providing 1 star for it. However, it was a bitter experience for me in the end of our meeting.I came to his office just for general information regarding tax return process and superannuation after recommendation by my father who got to know about this firm in Merrylands. I was asked to pay a consultation fee of $50 after our meeting which was really surprising as I was not notified of any charges applicable at the start of our conversation. He also falsely put blame on my father saying he told him about the charges earlier.A customer needs to be informed prior of any consultation fees applicable at the start of the meeting and not after. Some tax agents do not charge any fees for general enquiries so I would not have assumed it. In saying that, I certainly feel it's customer exploitation when you are not pre-informing the customer at the start of meeting andasking for fees after the consultation. Also, arguing with me that I should have assumed it being employed in Australia is not at all right.Thanks for your services anyhow. As a customer I am happy to pay for consultation fees when I am pre-informed but certainly asking me to pay by the end of our conversation did not reflect your professionalism but instead it gave me an impression of customer exploitation at your end.Thank you and God bless!
