My son and I absolutely loved coming here. It felt magic the moment we walked in. The lady was so lovely and welcoming. The displays were fantastic. I'd come back again!

I loved it here, something for everyone to look at. Family affordable entry fee, and then you a left to explore beyond the curtains by yourself. Lots of replicas and amazingly preserved animals, reptiles and insects. You could easly spend a few hrs looking at everything and still miss something. Dont forget to look up! A must do when in guildford. Parking can be a little tricky but theres parking next to alfreds kitchen across the road.

Took my nephew here, he absolutely loves dinosaurs and was in awe of all the life-scale dinosaur models on display, he kept pointing out all the dinosaurs he recognised. I have a keen interest in taxidermy so it was interesting to see all the taxidermy models of the animals. Super awesome museum! Would visit again :D Pro tip: They have larger models on display around the back of the museum!

I went to the Academy of Taxidermy on two occasions. The first time for a fox and the second time for a crayfish. What a excellent job Michael did. Fully committed to his job.

Everyone please do yourselves a favour and visit this museum! It is absolutely incredible. So much to see and it is a very extensive collection - you can see how much love, care, passion, and attention to detail has gone into everything. I haven’t been here since I was in primary school - it’s grown and changed a lot!Super reasonably priced at $3 for children and $6 for adults, it is well worth the visit.Adults or couples - if you are worried about this place being overrun by kids, we came during a weekday in the school holidays and it wasn’t super busy with children at all - so don’t let that put you off :)I especially loved the foxes - very cute, and the photos of Michael in his younger years. With such a reasonable entry price, we put some extra cash into the donation bowl to keep this wonderful place going, and we will definitely be back.Thank you so much for sharing your amazing collection with us. It was the perfect way to spend time on a rainy day!
