Secure Parking - Queen Street Village Car Park

The carpark system is flawed. Even if you have a cinema validation ticket there is nowhere to scan it and you have to call on the intercom and wait till someone answers. It reads your number plate but nothing comes up on the screen so you get stuck.

This car park payment system is absolutely terrible and I wasn't able to secure the discounted movie ticket parking using the validation ticket provided by the cinema staff. The system would not allow me to scan the validation ticket and wanted to charge me the full price and not the discounted price displayed on entry for those visiting the cinema.With no instructions nearby about where to scan the validation ticket, I pressed the assistance button and the operator told me I needed to pay the full price and then scan the validation ticket afterwards for the price to be adjusted, which made absolutely no sense and I of course ended up paying the full price just so I could leave the carpark. I double checked to make sure what I was hearing was correct.The tenants of this shopping complex really need to take a look at this situation, because they will lose patrons (and possibly their business) once people have been bitten by the parking system. This is not good for a new shopping complex trying to establish its reputation for being the rhythm of the Gold Coast".Secure Parking really does know how to "secure" the maximum amount from people using this carpark

Agree with others the parking cost when attending a movie here is a joke. Went last night, same problem trying to redeem any discount with movie ticket. Not Dendys fault, Centre Mgmt and Secure Parking need to sort this. You WILL lose plenty of patrons.

Charging $25 per day to go to work in this complex is absolutely shameful! What is going to be done about this? It’s just so cruel. I would like to see big changes in regards to staff parking. It’s just not worth going to work. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Today visit to our GP, sadly a medical emergency at the clinic, meant we were parked for just on 2hrs...which normally Drs is under 1.5 hr .. Was so surprised on leaving to then have to present credit card for a $5 parking fee. These charges for a standalone shopping medical and cinema centre is nuts!. Most centres around the GC have free all day parking...would never come here for lunch or movie ...forget it.. Sadly our GP moved into this complex to get up to date offices...feel sorry for all their patients, having to pay to park.

Numerous times we were told we owed money when we had a movie theatre validation for 3 hrs. We did NOT exceed this time limit yet were charged $10 to $25. When I spoke to a Secure Parking representative,he angrily said it was the driver's stupidity and the Dendy's Staff incompetence.

what a joke was given a voucher for 3 hours free parking from Dendy, arrived at 7.20pm had dinner then saw a movie at 8.10pm left a little before 10pm & the voucher we were given by the cinemas to scan at the boomgate doesn't work, then there are 10 cars behind you so you are forced to pay the ransom to get out, spend close to $200 in the centre then are made to incorrectly pay for parking, will never go back to this place again

They charge for parking when there are only restaurants, IGA and cinemas in this centre. Its not like you’re there shopping all day. Last night we got stuck, both boom gates weren’t working, there were long lines, however they didn’t just open the boom gates due to the problems they were having, they still expected each car to try their card numerous times and when it glitched they had to call the operator causing big lines to exit.

Absolutely disgusting and disappointed with the parking set up. I presented my parking ticket at the movies and they gave me a second ticket to use when leaving as this second ticket gives you a discount if you've been to the movies..The second discounting ticket was rejected, I tried several times entering it with the original ticket and each time it was rejected. I had to pay $25 for parking instead of $8. I will NEVER go back to this place. I was told to go on line and fill a form out for a refund but there is no such thing. You can shove this place where the sun don't shine. $15 lunch, $10 movie and $25 =$50 SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO HOTA

Worst carpark on the Gold Coast! Great shopping centre, excellent restaurants & cinema experience but a complete letdown in the carpark.It took me over 30mins to exit the carpark onto Nerang Street this evening (I might add there were only 5 cars in the queue to exit when I arrived) not because of traffic but because of the ticketing/boom gate system upon exit. It was a complete joke, taking every single car 5-10mins each to exit simply isn’t good enough.A ridiculous system that does not allow you to use your cinema voucher at the pay here station prior to getting into you car. Instead the only place to use a cinema voucher is at the exit boom gate. It was confusing & slow, leading to a traffic jam in the carpark where cars couldn’t even enter the premises.Shame on you Secure Carpark, you are letting your retailers down!
