Expensive, but not much else available in the area. Clean & tidy, but a few bugs (as is normal in a cane growing area).

I had such a great experience staying at Reef Gardens Motel. First time going on holiday in Proserpine.The owners, Julie and John, were very friendly and helpful.I was staying for two weeks and everyday they always made sure I was ok and always asked if I needed anything. They also told me a lot of different places to go and see and experience.Great little room with everything I needed. Always kept clean and tidy.An absolute must stay and relax.Thank you Julie and John for putting up with me and putting me up for two weeks.Cheers to you guys.

Would NOT recommend to any travelers or backpackers. From the moment we arrived the owner was unbelievably rude to us for no reason at all. And then again this morning when we were packing the car up to leave, shouting at us from 3 or 4 rooms away ( this was before check out time) will never be staying here again, the owner was the most miserable woman ive ever met, needs to give her head a wobble

Friendly welcome. Paid less than advertised. Julie showed us all the amenities and made us feel very welcome. Great advice on local places for meals. Very clean rooms.

John & Julie were awesome hosts. Room was amazing. Everything was lovely & clean. John went over & above & drove us to the bus stop at 6am to catch the bus to Townsville.

Owners were terrific, helpful and friendly with suggestions where to visit and eat. All recommendations exceeded expectations. They went over and above even did our laundry for us. Would recommend this to any traveller as alternative to staying in Airlie Beach, very close to everything.

Rooms were affordable, clean, and had all the necessary amenities required for a comfortable stay. The owners were helpful and professional and even gave some local knowledge about what was going on in the surrounding areas. would recommend!

Best motel, felt safe and close to home. The owners looked after us so well. Amazing service, and always checking up that everything is ok. Hard workers and everything was always clean and topped up.Highly recommend when staying near the airport.

Julie was an amazing host who went out of her way to accomodate us. We needed a place to stay at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances. Nothing was too much trouble rooms were neat and tidy. Highly recommend.
