I really struggled coming to terms with how I was treated by this salon. I've been a regular customer for years, watched the business change hands and bring on new staff. Unfortunately I booked in for my regular facial and was dismayed to get a staff member who had previously done a leg waxing for me. I knew from that experience that she didn't pay close attention to detail and I was reluctant to spend over $100 on what was sure to be a less than quality experience. During the facial I noted she didn't spread product around my face and absentmindedly kept exfoliating near my right eye. I was uncomfortable but brought it up. She failed to take notice or change her technique. In the end, she took skin off the delicate area around my eye. As I have sensitive skin (something they are well aware of in my history) this led to an inflamed reaction that permanently scarred the area around my eye. I have new wrinkles as a result and it's very clear in comparison to the left side.Mistakes happen, and although this was pretty huge and inexcusable how a business responds is valuable indicator of their quality of service. At first when I contacted management they seemed very concerned and offered a range of treatments to correct the problem. That quickly became four free treatments. Four than became two and then none. The first of which was alright, but the second again felt rushed like they couldn't be bothered with me as an individual. It became clear that I was a problem that they didn't really care about. When I tried to book for my third of four treatments they told me it wasn't worth the trouble because I had missed a week in between. I believe they treated me as if I was more trouble than I was worth. It felt incredibly fake and forced dealing with them. I felt like I had to endear myself to them, buying products I didn't want or need, to keep them in good spirits and understanding of the stress I felt over being disfigured by one of their staff. In the end, I believe they made promises they weren't interested in keeping because they didn't see me as a valued customer.

I have been attending Faceque, my local salon for a number of years. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The salon has been renovated recently and is spotlessly clean. My regular clinician Merv is very professional and knowledgeable. Can highly recommend.

I had a bikini wax with Antoinella and she was amazing! I went to her after having an awful experience with another salon in which I left in tears. Antoinella was incredibly sensitive and sweet to me and her waxing technique was perfect! Barely painful. Definitely get waxed by her. Thank you!!

Excellent treatment by Yvonne for a fabulous back massage and cleansing and a beautiful full facial. So calming/relaxing. My skin looked and felt soft, supple and fresh. Lovely products applied by an excellent practitioner

I am here to add 5 star review for Yvonne and her Team at Faceque . Yvonne is very professional, knowledgeable and passionate on her job . I couldn’t recommend her highly enough for what she has done on my skin .. So guys , what are you waiting for ? If you want to look and feel 10 years younger and have a youthful appearance, make an appointment at Faceque. It’s definitely better than botox or facelift . It’s natural .

I visited Faceque for a Lash Lift/Perm. The staff were really friendly but the lash perm wasn't great. The lashes on one eye ended up with an extreme perm, while the lashes on the other eye remained quite straight. My bottom lashes were permed in an upwards direction and I walked out of the salon with eyelash tint all over the skin around my eyes.

I used to go to this place ages ago. They were always pretty good. I used to go for fake tans. Not sure what their list of services are now.Part of the Northcote Plaza shopping Centre. Closer to where the bathrooms are and the massage place. Plenty of parking.

I went to have a brow wax and tint. Very hot liquid wax dropped into my eye right at the start of my treatment, blocking my tear duct and coating my eye lashes which solidified. The wax had to be removed with orange oil and now after 7 hours i am still in pain. Needless to say i did not go through with the treatment and very little in the way of concern was shown. I just walked out.

I love Faceque the salon is well organised and very discreet. I particularly see Mirva who is excellent and makes me feel welcome and comfortable as she expertly waxes and plucks. I have been attending this salon for over a decade and would recommend it highly.
