The Deck Kids

We had been on a lookout for a new kids cafe ever since our local one closed down and was recommended this by a friend in my mum's group. Booked online and paid the $8 per person admission fee (total amount paid redeemable for food and beverages - great idea!) for a playdate with 2 adults and 3 kids (and a baby). The space was bright, clean, well stocked and designed with imaginative play spaces. The kids had the best time and didn't want to leave. Us Mums, loved the generous portions and quality of the food that we ordered. A few thoughtful things really added to the experience like the nappy wipes made available for messy hands and faces, the take away boxes to put away food that children inevitably will ignore when they are having too much fun playing. Ambience was great, the staff was attentive and so lovely! We will be back! Can't wait.

Came for a visit with a couple of Mums and their kids. The space is really clean for one which was great, the kids moved between the houses play areas for the entire time having a blast. We could also play with them which was nice. The food and coffee was a highlight with real food and brunch options (not just fried food like other kids play spaces) which was seriously delicious! I also attended a 6th birthday party that had the Fairy theme. Wow is an understatement - the kids couldn’t have been more entertained and the set up was gorgeous! Absolutely loved my experiences. Will definitely be recommending the Deck Kids to all the Mums and Dads I know for both play and parties!

Very well set up with a gourmet menu. If you are looking for a place where you are able to sit down and have an adult conversation while your child immense themselves in imaginative independent play then I highly recommend to book a session! The 1.5 is plenty for the kids to play without getting bored and whinning....my advice is that it's quite fun and stimulating for children to be able to play like this so feed them and have snacks on the go for them as the play area is designed for them to have a great time and the food menu is designed more so for adults to enjoy in peace...very well thought of..well done at the deck Brighton

Great indoor playarea that leans heavily to imaginative play. Roleplaying shopkeepers etc. I was there with my 4yo. She had great fun, but I would think she's in the oldest group that would enjoy the set up. There was at least one older girl present while we were there.The small area lends to a more intimate setting. It would be wonderful for parents groups and parties. The food was tasty with lots of options. The staff were friendly, though a little run off their feet, could probably do with another staff member (maybe someone was off).

For a kid friendly cafe it feels a bit hollow. Maybe it’s the lack of natural light or the awkward layout, maybe it’s the small space and so so kids food (white toast and a slice of cheese anyone?) hard to pint point. Feels a bit forced, one for the instamummies. Kids love it at least. Food for adults was great mind you. Glad to say once we got out into the playground we could relax at least.

Fantastic play centre and cafe combined. Food is cafe quality, freshly made and great choice of options. Order through a QR code makes it easy and flexible while juggling kids and meeting friends.The play area has four themed sections, outdoor, supermarket, house and ball pit. Our 15 month old loves exploring all the spaces.Parents can rest easy to enjoy their food knowing the play area has gates and close to the tables.Staff were friendly and helpful.We will definitely be back!

Lovely place but the parents need to stay out! Place not to big to have so many parents around chatting away.. many times I've been there, entertainers really struggling to keep kids engrossed with all the noise.. but I do guess depends on kids age group!

The perfect set up for parents and the toddlers. Space for a small group of kids and parents per session so make sure you book.Gated play area set up with different themes. Tables set up right next to the play area so you can see the kids. Great menu, and the $8 entry per person can be used on food.
