First time here & staff were super friendly, polite & accommodatingWe shall return.

I was accepted in for a walk in hair cut which was great as no one else in cessnock is able to cater for that. The is probably the only star I can give.I was attended to quickly, but as someone who is more a visual person then someone who requests her hair cut in measurements (inches) the stylist couldn't understand what length I wanted it cut as saying up around the shoulders apparently isn't good enough.I dont have my hair cut very often and the short style is something I have had done a few times but am still getting used to ordering.The stylist seemed to become confrontational on the length I was requesting be cut, and used her own hair knowledge to convince me into her proffered method, I refused layers, as I wasn't sure how they were going to work as she didn't want to cut it as short as I wanted, and I didn't want length and layers!! So there were no layers added, it was cut off just below my ear, as if someone had put a salad bowl over my head and used that as a stencil.I was in tears as the stylist started cutting my hair, she did proceed to ask me if I would like a hug and if I were happy with the length, to which I admitted defeat as you do when you don't want to argue with someone and told her I was.I paid 40$ for this experience, and proceeded in tears to the next closest hair salon where they sat me straight in a chair with shock horror written all over their faces and apologies for bad work they had not done.It is still an absolutley woful cut and the worst i have had infact, but atleast it doesn't look like my daughter has gotten to it while I was asleep.I paid 40$ for this experience, and I don't even want to risk calling and letting this person know how unhappy I am, so here's a google review!No pictures attached as I dont find it fair to the beautiful woman who tried her best to fix it.
