Atmosphere and publican are amazing. Kitchen serves good quality meals at really reasonable prices. This is a super friendly pub with great live music. Great selection of beers and wine, and smiles all around. Nicky runs a great pub

Farmers Hotel Vacy
We stayed in Vacy 2 nights hoping to enjoy the Hotel's 'menu all featuring local produce'. Unfortunately for us the first night it closed at 6.30, and the second we rang and were told it was closed for meals. Both nights were advertised as open till 10pm on their Web page. LUCKY for us Vacy Motel cooked us a great meal the Monday, and we had a delicious fresh pizza from the Vacy General Store the second night.My advice if you are looking for a nice feed at a local pub - keep driving!

A pub that obviously caters well for the locals. Cheap beer. Quality food. Stopover from Canberra to Brisbane. This little pub makes the town. Dog friendly outdoors, but it’s in the sun. Free pool. Wide range of alcohol, with 10 or so bottles of scotch.

Hands down some of the best lamb cutlets I’ve ever eaten. Big portions and very good quality food. A must if you are ever in the area.

Friendly country pub, with a chat at the bar, and great pub food. The pizza is big enough to share!
