Had a major breakdown in Katoomba and was recommended to call into Precision. I cannot speak more highly of them. They managed to work on my vehicle on short notice to diagnose that I needed a new petrol pump. The part was not available so I ended towing my car back to Sydney. That aside. These boys deliver on service. I was taken aback when they said there was ‘no charge’ for their time. Really unbelievable. Honest as the day is long. Thank you so so very much. Highly recommended.

Overtightened my wheel nuts so much had to replace all the studs.... do not recommend. Always ask them to torque your wheel nuts up if you go here .

I have been taking my car to Precision for a while now. Excellent workmanship, honest and reliable service. The staff are very professional and courteous and are very knowledgeable. They do not overcharge or give inaccurate information.I have had family health issues and they went out of their way to meet my deadlines .I highly recommend them.

Spent $2200 for a safety check here, my car engine overheated on the way back from precision, popped the bonnet and there's no coolant at all.Sure, keeping fluid levels topped up is the owner's responsibility however after spending $2200 I'd expect them to at least tell me.No way the mechanic didn't notice it. Spoke to the guy on the phone and he didn't seem to care that one of the mechanics is incompetent. Nearly every pink slip check list states that checking fluid levels and leaks is a normal part of a safety check.Avoid this mechanic.

Bought my 2005 honda CRV last year and upon inspection the mechanic claimed it has a transmission issue, After taking it to another mechanic for a service they didn't mention a thing about it.Recently I moved to Katoomba and had heard good stuff about the team at precision automotive so took my car in for a major service. The team were friendly, transparent with what they would do at pricing. Following the service they informed me there was nothing wrong with the transmission at all and was a shot engine mount - something the past mechanics had missed. After chasing up the part promptly within 2 weeks my car was booked back in and is driving the best it has ever been with the problem missed.For anyone looking for a reliable, friendly and a good attention to detail mechanic in the upper mountains look no further

Dave and Ian were absolutely fantastic to deal with from the start, brought my old Holden in for a blue slip and front end repairs, they were honest, up front and very fair. The work they undertook was thorough and they went above and beyond to make sure even the most difficult kingpin replacements were done properly and for a very reasonable cost. I would highly recommend these guys, especially if you have an older vehicle. Will definitely be back in future.

Ian, Brad and Hayden fitted two baby seats to my van. They took the time to ensure they got the best possible fit on my retrofitted back seats (not an easy feat). They were honest, kind and gave me an extremely fair price (especially considering the difficulty of the job). I'll be going back and recommend this business highly. Friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They did a last-minute same day road worthy pink slip inspection with 3 hours notice , happy customer.
