Booked based on a recommendation, and very pleased with the outcome. Initial inspection included a clear diagram of where the interior and exterior units would sit and where the pipe/trunking would go. I got a clear recommendation of what size unit I should get for the space and why. The installation itself was very smooth, I'm really impressed with how clean a job it was going through big sliding window frame, the trunking looks fantastic (I've seen some much less tidy jobs in the same building), and the guys were all very professional. We contacted Ben Rafferty Air on recommendation and have found them just excellent to deal with. Super prompt visit for a quote, good advice on type of unit and where to put both the indoor unit and outdoor condenser. They also provided a perfectly clear diagram for our solar panel installation guys so they could leave appropriate room for the unit. Then installation was arranged within a couple of weeks of our accepting the quote which came very promptly. A lovely team of guys showed up on time this morning, worked steadily to install our new reverse-cycle ZENA system, ran through the filter cleaning and operation instructions with me, and cleaned up all the brick dust absolutely beautifully (and covered our furniture and floors with plastic & blankets while they worked so all was super clean when they left). I was cooking from the heat and the aircon was hardly breathing. I rang Ben Rafferty and spoke to a professional caring woman named Jane who took me thru the steps that might fix it before recommending spending on a repairer. A man called Matthew was sent to my place. A genius knowledge of every aspect including the history of the machine and fixed things, restoring refrigerant in basement, adjusting settings etc. Very, very impressed.

The Ben Rafferty team removed and replaced our ducted A/C unit. The service provided on the day was exceptional. They had a team of 3-5 throughout the day who were very informative, professional and hard-working. We decided to go with Ben Rafferty ahead of the other quotes due the manner on site from their technician. It was lovely that all the staff arrived on time, were well presented and actually introduced themselves. They were courtesy, happy and had excellent communication skills. They tidied up beautifully and took the time to show me how to operate the system at the completion of the job. Nothing seemed like too much trouble.
