Forestville Library

Friendly staff, well laid out and lots of desks scattered around to set up and get work done. Some other libraries have all the work / study desks together and it gets crowded and noisy. These are set up in small pods around the library....very comfortable.

Staff are very helpful for finding books and also if you need to print or copy ,...They are professional.Easy to find books.Computers and internet are good.Forestville library is a place you feel relax while reading a nice bookI like it and recommend it to everyone

A Northern Beaches Library membership is free to all residents of NSW. It gives you access to a large collection of books, movies and music as well as a wealth of digital content for leisure and study.

Always found the library great, under utilised by a lot of the community who don't know what they are missing out on including free e-books and audio books straight to your phone.Great range of all media and friendly staff.

Great library. Great service, very friendly people there to help. A great place were kids can go and complete homework before they get home. They have computer thats are free to use if you have a library card and they also have free internet if they bring there own device. I would highly recommend this library for its resources and services.

Not among the biggest of libraries, but got really friendly staff who are ready to help always. Dailies, magazines, DVDS, books and more can be found here. Kids story point can be found deep inside the hall. Clean rest rooms. Decent parking lots available in front of the library.

Now 24x7 - will I don't know what that means, I'm sure it's good.

Terribly good show to be had here don't think twice about it

Staff is amazing and friendly. Everything is all good. However, parents mixed up the notion of library with childcare i think. Because parents usually do not control their children and many people are suffering due to severe noise

I surprisingly found the staff at this library really rude. I never go here but as the book I wanted to loan was only present here I decided to go borrow it. None of the computers were turned on so when I went to reception to ask she seemed quite shocked at my request and seemed taken aback as I approach the desk even before I asked. When I went to borrow the book another lady was there and as there are self-service at other libraries I glaced near the door to check before placing the book down. She started rudely telling me that I would have to go somewhere else to photocopy as their one was broken. I never mentioned anything about photocopying or even a word to her and even if I did want to she did not have to speak to me in the way she did. I told her I was borrowing the book and was just checking if there was self-service to which she abruptly interrupted me and said they don't have one. Not really the experience I expected or ever experienced at a library.
