Honestly, i have been to this place for the last couple of years. I always order the massaman beef. I don't really care about the price because it always was delicious.Well i am not happy anymore. I am not sure if they change the chef but the massaman that I got on Friday night was greasy, tasteless and not worth it's price anymore. The taste has been declining from the last couple of month.So I won't come back.I apologise because it is a harsh comment.Of course you need to try it first before comparing with my comment.Everyone has different taste, so it is my selfish point of view.

Two weeks ago, My husband and I already had lunch there. Very tasty food and the very attentive waitress helped us choose the dish because we don't know it very well and my husband has some allergies. Today when we asked for help and it was another waitress, super impatient and asked me have you never eaten before? don't you know?". So my husband didn't feel safe and went to get sushi for him and our daughters and I would eat there because I don't have allergies. I called another waitress over and asked if I could bring them some sushi because I really wanted to eat there and she said fine

I enjoy eating here. Delicious Thai food, good prices and a nice dine in experience.I recommend trying their Hokkien noodles with cashew nut sauce.

We have been very spoilt with great Thai for years so were excited to try this after reading the reviews. Unfortunately our experience was not so positive. After waiting 15min for drinks and receiving only one of our two entrees we chalked it down to unlucky and turned our focus to the mains. Unfortunately only one of three mains ever made it to the table. On enquiring the head waitress was very apologetic and offered a 10% discount (albeit only $5). I fully understand mistakes happen and to miss one dish fine but three out of six dishes is extremely disappointing, particularly when the order was read back to us. Having spent $50 for satay chicken, pad see ew, rice and 2 beers with a 60min wait time I wouldn’t go back. We noticed other tables were also having issues, hopefully it was an off night and others have a better experience.

Great place to have an authentic Thai lunch. Food is delicious and reasonably priced.They do find it difficult, however, to bring out two meals at the same time.

Some dishes are nice, some are too sweet...The presentation of our Pad see-eww on that day wasn't nice. Staff are friendly but price is rather dear comparing to quality of some dishes but understandable as it's located in Charlestown Square.

Service was greatAtmosphere was very niceFood was overall delicious. There was one dish that was quite salty but we ordered a bowl of plain rice and it wasn't a problem.Would definately return next time we visit Charlestown.

The wait time was pretty bad. Ordered online at 6.30pm and meant to be ready 7.10pm. Arrived and then told it would be another 30 mins. Go away,come back 30 mins later and then told in a rude manner to wait outside. Still had another 25 mins to wait. Got a couple of cans of drink as an apology but not really good enough having to wait so long when menulog orders were flying off the shelves. Maybe it's best to just order off menulog and not worry that the restaurant is missing out. Nice food though.

I'm a Charlestown local and The Greatful Thai gets my vote as best Thai ever. At least once a week I get the holy Basil bomb. Service is awesome, atmosphere is great. Perfect for a business lunch, dinner date with your partner or some tasty takeaway.

The Grateful Thai
It was my first time to have Thai food. Delicious dishes with eye appealing presentation. We ordered green curry, red curry, satay chicken and mouth watering special chicken holy basil chilli bomb. Wonderful experience. I am looking forward to go there again.
