As a first home owner I had a horrible experience with this company.After multiple conversations with Colin regarding body corporate, rates and general property information we put an offer in on a property on an online auction. I explained we havent done an online aution before and had many questions. Colin confirmed the owner would accept and the auction would be complete as the offer was significantly higher than where it was currently sitting. The owner did accept and Colin sent us a lovely text message congratulating us on our home and how wonderful it is to be home owners! We were so thrilled and excited and were awaiting the paper work.What we didn't know is that Colin kept the auction open for 6 more hours. Then at the last second a 'buyer' put in a higher bid. We naturally called Colin and explained how devastated we were to hear this as he had text us and let us know we were successful new home owners. Imagine being informed you finally have a property after looking for 6 months and being so excited to then have that ripped out from under you. This roller-coaster was incredibly emotional and unprofessional.Colin then back tracked and went back and forth for quite some time and we said we weren't going higher and then somehow we won the property.After this debacle, we then found out that the figure he had given for body corporate was incorrect. The figure for the rates was incorrect and the work to be carried out on the property from the sinking fund was incorrect too.I asked Colin to cover the first year of rates to help make up for the worst experience of buying a home. Colin was rude on the phone and he took no ownership for his mistakes. He blamed it all on the previous owner.I would never recommend this company.
