They turned up on time and fixed our dishwasher (at vast cost), but they broke the dishwasher’s legs and it took nearly three months and two visits to fix — then they tried to bill me for fixing the legs they broke!They managed to break our fridge last time they did a warranty repair too.Do not recommend.

My partner and I had Detlevs attend to our property, Kadin was the name of the tradesman. We couldn't be happier with the work and knowledge Kadin provided, very helpful, friendly and didn't leave a mess!! We will be asking for Kadin to return for further works when engaging with Detlevs in future. Impressed!

I have been trying to get my Asko dishwasher repaired since October 2022. After the initial visit Detlevs ordered the required spare part from Asko. When they came it turned out they had ordered the wrong part! I'm still waiting and its now the 16th Feb. 2023.

I was very pleased with my dealings with Detlev's Electrical - they kept me well informed on the progress of my job and the service person who carried out the repairs was very professional and efficient.

Technician informed me that he could 'hear' a blockage in the machine without any real analysis, was then informed for the first time in this month long process that any blockages in the machine are considered user error and would not be fixed under warranty. Was informed that it was probably just a lint blockage, but it would cost $200 to remove it. The technician was also on his last call for the day and left in such a rush that the floor was left covered in water. Incredibly unprofessional, complete lack of communication in terms of warranty issues. One of the most unprofessional interactions I have ever experienced.

Highly professional local company. We purchased a stove/hobb and needed someone to install. Detlevs’s was recommended as the preferred installer. They sent a tech/site surveyor to the house to see if the product would fit. It would not, without significant costs. We had an alternative, which was essentialy, same model with some design features. Detlev’s quoted us on the spot. Then we had to wait for the stove/hobb to arrive. Install team arrived within the window and gave us a 30 minute warming.They unpacked the new product and installed, removed the old products and took away the rubbish. All done and dusted in 30 minutes, Best install ever.

Replaced gas cooktop for an induction cooktop in a stone bench-top. Difficult job. Very satisfied with the result and the way it was performed.

Technician came out and sealed up our broken range hood, saying he'd send us the quote for installing a new one in a few days. We hadn't heard from them after two weeks, so called them back and was told they're still getting to it. Two months later and still no update.I'd appreciate if they could be straight-up if they're understaffed, instead of irresponsibly taking on new clients they can't serve, and profiting from one-off visits where they don't solve the problem.
