I am 69 and was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes two years ago. My HbA1c was 13.7% but with medication, exercise and a change in diet to significantly reduce carbohydrates, it was reduced to 6.3% in 7 months. However, prior to diagnosis I had been slowly losing weight over several years and had dropped from 75 kg to 67kg. My primary reason for consulting Emma was to regain muscle mass while controlling my diabetes. With her expert advice, guidance and support I have altered my dietary intake and regained 2 kg while keeping my blood sugar stable.I am very happy with the advice and support provided by Emma.
