I went to the main registers which were unattended. I saw a staff member putting decorations on their Christmas tree and called out hello several times and she looked at me but ignored me. I was upset and told her so but she just smirked. I won’t go back.

For a smaller town the IGA was more than what I would have expected. The store would hold its own in a larger town or even a city suburb.

Good to have IGA at lake, most of our required groceries available there. Beside grocery, they also have other items like cooker and toaster, so that's good.

Tried to get a refund on fresh chicken pieces that stunk and was rotten when we got it home. The store took no responsibility and kept passing me off to a supervisor after another (3 staff members) until the last person advised the boss is away until tomorrow. Looks like they don't stand by the products they sell so buyer beware .
