I went to extract a tooth before I get new braces, Dr.Simone and the nurse were lovely (Thank you) , they had to double check my decision for the extraction, anyway after couple visits I decided to get this done with, the extraction wasn't painful at all, the doctor was gentle. I thought i should say the environment in the clinic was friendly (children friendly as well), the staff were welcoming and had people' skills. Thank you for the good experience with you guys

At our practice we have not seen these one star reviewers - they have not been at our practice, and their one star reviews appear to be a joint effort to drag the star rating of 'The Tooth Doctor' and should not be taken seriously. At The Tooth Doctor we take pride in explaining to our patients all treatment options and giving our patients autonomy in their oral care. I have never heard the principal dentist act in a rude manner or raise his voice.

Nick and the team are fantastic. My wife and I hadn’t been to the dentist in about a decade (bad experiences in the past) and this practice changed our view of dentists completely. Never felt more comfortable going to the dentist and getting work done. Affordable, friendly and recommend to all our friends who move to Adelaide. 5 stars doesn’t do this place enough justice. Will never go anywhere else.

My three year old son recently visited the Tooth Doctor to have his first check up.Upon entering the Clinic he was immediately delighted to find the kids toy room where he started his Appointment having fun and was relaxed. He then met his Dentist and went and sat in the big chair for the first time. The tone of his Dentist voice was settling to him and he was all teeth" lying there in his cool glasses awaiting to see what would happen next.It was comforting to his Mum that he was so relaxed

My 6 year old son had a fall and chipped both his front teeth on a Sunday evening a couple of weeks ago. Dr Nick Tolis was caring and generous enough to consult with us over the phone before opening his rooms especially for us on a Sunday evening as he could sense our panic! He was so professional and put our minds at ease immediately after thoroughly assessing our son. He went above and beyond the call of duty and we would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a competent, thorough, friendly ,gentle and caring dentist! Our son arrived at his rooms crying and left smiling from ear to ear! Thank you Dr Nick Tolis!

Zoom Tooth Whitening was excellent. My teeth went so white you can no longer see the white flourosis spots. Simone and Nick were friendly and the girl on the front desk even made me a coffee! Thanks Tooth Doctor for brightening my smile :D

Dr. Strangetooth or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love my DentistBy Heath F.I grew up in a small town in the Northern Territory and our mains water was treated river water. Now as kid I didn't know any better about what this meant. I still don't fully understand, except it was what we had and it tasted good. The river water though drinkable didn't, as I understand, have a great deal of fluorine/fluoride in it.I would like to say that brushing my teeth was as for teenagers, a chore, but one that I did none the less. In fact with thanks to my dear mother, I have never shied away from the toothbrush. The government school dentist we had at the time was a lovely lady. However, I distinctly remember her putting on a mining helmet and steelcap boots, and, with what looked to the 12 year old me, a pickaxe that the salt miners of Russia would have been proud of, climbing into my mouth to look for natural gas or coal seams. As it was, she was also a friend of the family and so I didn't want to complain. So, I hated going to the dentist.Even when I broke a tooth (a wisdom tooth, no less) some 10 years later, I still didn't want to visit the seemingly inviting chair of a drill wielding, white apron wearing, pearly white smiling, practitioner of dentistry.Traveling around the country and the world for love and work, eventually bought me to Adelaide and as part of the ancient ritual of roosting, my wife and I sought out purveyors of various trades for out everyday lives. General practitioners, grocers, butchers, bakers, mechanics, and barbers, graced our lists. But ever absent from that list and distrusted in my eyes was The Dentist. It was one day, some five years ago, that my wife remarked on my breath. Having known about my broken tooth, she said that she smelt something bad and fearing that if the tooth was rotten it could spread to my jaw bone. As I am one to talk, and type as it were, I am sure that she had carefully weighed up the downside of a husband suddenly mute.... Indeed dear reader, if you are still with me at this point , I commend you! After a time of conducting her own research into the location and reputation of local dental practitioners, she pushed me in the direction of one Dr Nick Tolis. After hearing my recount of river water, broken tooth, and absence from the Dentist chair, I watched the face of this new acquaintance, waiting for his reaction. I searched for the little look that would signify the unmitigated extraction of teeth and money from my person. Now, dear reader and possible patient for The Tooth Doctor, this is where I am happy to say, I saw a smile.A warm, welcoming smile. The sort of smile you get from that Uncle you wait all year to see at Christmas.A smile that melted my fears.A smile that brushed away nearly two decades of mental anguish pertaining to teeth. And with that smile he said, kindly, to me:Do you like your teeth and how long would you like to keep them for?"That one little sentence resonated with me.A dentist that didn't scowl and pester.A dentist that leveled the playing field and told you how it was and wanted to plan with you

5 stars!!! And more if I could! I was in a world of pain and it’s the Australia Day Public Holiday, I called Dr Nick and he was happy to come in and open up for my emergency! I can’t recommend The Tooth Doctor enough! Dr Nick explains everything he is doing during the procedure and is a world of knowledge! He makes you very comfortable through the entire process from start to finish. I would have been in trouble without him and his team! Thank you so much again!
